New Champion Suggestion

A friend and I had an idea for a new champion that would act as a "Tamer". Imagine a young boy that has tamed a wolf. I haven't thought much into the lore of it all but I have thought through some of the mechanics. The boy himself would not have any abilities. He would just be a squishy target that controlled the wolf who did all the fighting. The wolf would be a high damage, and mildly tanky melee fighter that would roam a small distance in front of the boy. If the wolf dies, the boy is helpless and has to return to base, so he would gain movement speed if this happened since he has no abilities himself. The actual death happens if the boy dies. Think of it as a mix between Annie and Kindred, with a twist. His Q could be a basic command that makes the wolf charge. The W could be a growl similar to Rengar. The E could be a defense buff for the wolf. The Ultimate I thought would be tricky to use. I was thinking the boy sacrifices health which send the wolf into a rage, dashing and attacking the nearest enemy with increased damage. Obviously this all needs to be thought out more, but I thought this could bring a new dynamic into the game since it would be tricky to keep the boy safe while effectively attacking with the wolf. Let me know what you all think :P

I like the idea of a "tamer" and your description is like a semi-back story or lore.

But because he's weaker, it's better to advance his age and skill as a tamer up by alot.

Imagine this:

Domitor, The Beast tamer (Domitor is tamer in latin)

Male/female wilderness survivalist armed with a whip (like a lion trainer) medium range, like xin zhao or wukong or zyra?

Master of beasts (Passive): Domitor gains a new passive whenever a new beast summoned.

cooldowns are long, maybe 5-6 seconds level 1? reduced by 2-3 at max maybe

Secondary bar: Mana? or manaless?

Baron, the Great Dane / Sic 'em(Q): Domitor calls a great dane to assist him/her in battle. (previous pet is replaced) Passive: After every 4th basic attack, The great dane will chase the target, biting them, dealing damage and lowering armor. Active: Domitor target's an enemy champion, the great dane pounces on them, slowing them, lowering their Armour and dealing damage for 3 secs (passive is disabled while great dane is active or on cooldown)

BluntHorn, the Grey Rhino / CHARGE (W): Domitor calls a Grey Rhino to assist him/her in battle. (previous pet is replaced) Passive: Domitor mounts the grey rhino, he gains increased armor and health, but reduced movement speed and attack range (the rhino attacks) Active: Domitor will charge towards the target, dealing damage to enemies on the way and knocking back the first champion hit a short distance. if the rhino + enemy champion hit a wall, the are both stunned for 2 secs (passive is disabled while grey rhino is on cooldown)

Sylandra, the Queen Cobra / Stangle hold (E): Domitor calls an albino python to assist him/her in battle. (previous pet is replaced) Passive: The albino replaced Domitor's basic attacks, dealing poison damage ever 3 secs. Active: Domitor orders the Queen Cobra to wrap around the target champion, rooting them and dealing damage for 4 seconds. The queen cobra can be attacked by allied enemy champions for an early release. (passive is disabled while Queen cobra is on cooldown)

Unleash the Bugs (R): Domitor calls for a crate drop at a target location. after 3 seconds it will land at the target location, releasing 1000 flesh eating scarabs that slow enemies inside and dealing damage for 5 secs. (pretty boring, but its all can come up with thats not OP, like unleash a dragon or a mini baron XD)

have fun with this, change stuff or think of other beast to call forth.

Your "tamer" idea and the fact that you mentioned a pet wolf made me think of the jungle monsters themselves.

What if this champion could pick between Gromp, Krug, Murkwolves, or Crimson Raptors and has to channel some time with them in order to tame them (Sort of like Ivern's passive), then they will fight for you using your abilities as commands/buffs.

He/she could either be locked into the first camp tamed for the whole match, or could be able to swap at some point, either after a cooldown, after the pet dies, or after the champion dies.

I also think it would be really cool if their abilities had different effects, even different scaling based on which camp is chosen. I think this would be best if it were to lock the selection so that they wouldn't be completely effed by itemizing one way then needing to change pets that don't scale on any of their stats.

Also, I'm not really sure about how this would work with the changes to jungle camps that I've seen in Pre-season 7 ... but it was just an idea.
