Riptide, The Void Fisherman
Race: Water-Dweller (Same as Fizz) Gender: Male Occupation: Void Hunter/Fisherman Role: Riptide is a melee, AD based support skilled at positioning himself to CC single targets or groups of foes. His skill-set revolves around his Q, "Cast", which allows him to position himself to CC the enemy, or to drag them into his own team's clutches. If built correctly, Riptide can also become a high-damage AD bruiser, utilizing his CC to ensure enemies are vulnerable to his auto-attacks, while having his ultimate as a form of hard disengage.
Passive: "Empowered Harpoon"- Whenever Riptide's Q or W hits an enemy directly, he gains a stack of "Empowered Harpoon". Each stack increases the size and damage of his ultimate: "Void Harpoon".
Q: "Cast"- On first cast- (Linear Skill Shot) Riptide casts out his Ancient Fishing Line, hooking and stunning enemies it connects with, and granting a stack of "Empowered Harpoon". If it doesn't directly hit, the hook is buried into the ground or wall at the targeted area, and remains there for a few seconds. On second cast- Riptide reels in his catch. If it has hooked an enemy, the enemy is pulled to where Riptide is standing. If the cast did not hit an enemy, it is dragged back to Riptide's location, pulling any enemies caught in its return path back to him.
W: "Void Net"- (Circular AOE) Riptide prepares(charges-up) to hurl his Bilgewater Fishing Net outwards at a target location. The longer the ability is charged, the farther away Riptide can cast his net. On release, the net snares any enemies caught in it (think a Nami bubble mixed with the charging mechanic of Vi's Power Fist).
E: "Hooked"- This ability can only be cast after the first cast of Riptide's Q, and only if it did not hit an enemy champion. Riptide reels-in his catch, but flies to the target area rather than pulling the line to himself.
R: "Void Harpoon"- (Linear Skill Shot, Long Range) Riptide pulls his harpoon, empowered by his previous catches, out of the void; and launches it forward. The harpoon skewers all enemy champions caught in its path. If the harpoon carries enemies into a wall, they are stunned.
Lore: Not gonna put anything super in-depth yet. Basically he was a member of the same ancient city as Fizz, and believes creatures of the Void destroyed it. He hunts for these creatures with magical, ancient fishing equipment from the lost city and his harpoon wrested from the hands of a monster he fished out of the void. He despises all void creatures and desires to end them all and discover if and why they destroyed his city.
