League tourneys
I know this has been a while since Riot stupidly shut down tournaments for RP, but Riot should seriously reconsider their options and hurry up with some kind of replacement.
The problem with tournaments - not enough people participate in them. Well instead of ruining the fun for the thousands of players, why didn't they make a system for it to replace it, or simply give it some attention by posting it in the client, because who doesn't want free RP?
Possible options instead of removing it -

Bring back the old system, which would still allow the RP tournaments to be run by smaller communities (VG, HKG, etc.). problems - a lot of people didn't really like downloading teamspeak or much less know how to use it.

Replace it with a new system where Riot is more involved. If Riot decided to host their own RP tournaments, they could in turn make a voice chat system /or make a better grouping system. Previously, you'd have to register an account, join their website, link your account, etc (it wasn't difficult, but some people were just clueless) problems - smurfs. Smaller communities with admins were able to pretty easily find and ban smurfs from the tournaments, if Riot were to take control of it, I'm sure a lot more smurfs would get through, unless an elaborate system was made where it tracked your IP, highest ranked account etc. (but there's even ways around that)

Make a hybrid system where Riot's more involved but not entirely control of the whole operation.
Whatever happens, we need to bring these back because some people (like me) can't entirely afford to buy skins, but would still love to use them! I got a lot of skins from tournaments and put a lot of hours into it and just to see Riot mess it up so quickly was really unfortunate. It screwed over the partakers of the tournaments and definitely the owners of the communities that spent hours/money/time on nice websites/systems to make sure everything was in order.
