Chat Based Punishments

Alright, so everyone get ready to downvote.

So, I've been playing league since mid season 3, and have sadly done my fair share of being toxic. While I have been able to rid myself of such behaviors, I realize there are many who haven't. I personally feel that the current punishment system does not prevent toxicity, nor encourage reform.

Limiting a players' messages will simply limit the amount of toxicity they emit, not prevent it. I also feel, that banning a player do to toxicity is not the answer either. As all that will do is encourage them to make a new account, and then create poor experiences for the newer players of the game.

I would like to suggest having a selective chat system for those punished. So, the player could only use certain messages in chat. Somewhat similar to Smite's premade messages that you can use. I feel this would accomplish the goal of preventing that player from being negative in chat, as well as still allowing the player to communicate with his team effectively. For ex: "Push top" "Mid lane is missing" "Come to Dragon" etc.

Again, this is simply my opinion, and I may be completely missing the mark on this. May as well try, though.
