Pool Party Orianna and possibly Nidalee a thing?

I was going through the skins for Lee Sin because I was bored and found this (http://i.imgur.com/txJOAVB.jpg) In the background you can clearly see Pool Partied Up Orianna and the women that Lee Sin is flirting with looks to be Nidalee ( So my question is, are Pool Party Orianna and Pool Party Nidalee/ a planned thing in the future even though the Pool Party Lee Sin skin is a older skin.

Now onto my personal opinion on the subject.

Orianna I personally think that Pool Party Oriana would be a neat skin Her Q could splash water when it lands Her W sends out a ripple of water Her E is a beach-ball shield Her ultimate could be a whirlpool.

Nidalee I think this skin would be pretty cool too but a little strange when it comes to her panther form. Her Q would obviously be her throwing umbrella (Kind of like Pool Party Leona's E) I don't know what her W could be that would fit the theme of both traps and pool party, maybe an Innertube Her E would be the same really since it doesn't exactly have an animation other than the green glow and growl I don't know what her panther form would look like because I'm not that creative.

Anyway that's my 2-cents for this topic.

There are 10 other champions in Renekton's Splash, 10 in Zigg's, 6 in Graves, 4 in Leona's and 2 in Lee Sin's which you already got (plus the vision ward). Some of them are doubled up but all together there are 23 different Champions featured aside from the main 5!

Give us more Pool Party skins pls. Who ever said that skin line-ups needed to be limited to 5 champions only? My wallet needs emptying. Rito pls.

No one ever said that, just to be clear. While we are trying to get more skin lines to at least 5, there is no rule that we stop there. However at the same time while we often talk about making a full team comp some themes fit certain roles/champs better and ultimately the skin has to be super cool for the champion.

Headhunter was 3 junglers, but if you count Rengar as a top and Nidalee as a support then Caitlyn and Akali gives you a full team. Not a great one though - there's nothing stopping us from doing a Tank/Bruiser Headhunter or a Support Headhunter. Battlecast has 6 so far, 7 if your include The Creator himself - again they are super AP heavy and not really a great team (even if Urgot is meta right now). Arclight already had an adc and yeah you could play Vayne top (or Varus mid PoE <3) but that didn't stop us from going with this theme for her because we thought it was a theme her skins were missing and looked super cool.

What's the difference between Arclight and Justicar? They seem similar, and we haven't seen a new Justicar skin in a while.

Oh man! I don't know...

When I was still freelancing I was asked to do some ideas for a Vel'koz skin. There were a number of themes they wanted concepts for and one of them was Arclight/Justicar. The main hook was the idea of blasting radiant light and how different/awesome the particles on his abilities would be, especially the 'God Ray' ultimate. I thought 'okay, let me take a look at the current Arclight/Justicar skins and see which theme/style would work best for that idea'.

I think you can see where this is going. Arclight Varus was just one skin (which doesn't help all that much when trying to reference a particular style) while Justicar Syndra and Aatrox look completely different... AAAH! So I tried a bunch of designs, some taking reference from one skin and a couple that tried to bridge the gap between Syndra's red bandages with feathers and Aatrox's blue skin with white feathery leathery er, bits.

I'm a lore nerd for sure so trying to get some thematic cohesion and flesh out skin lines (and backstories for these alternate worlds) is really important to me. I think it really would add a lot if we knew what Justicar Syndra did in that world and how she related to Aatrox, the rest of the team feel the same way but remind me that our primary goal is just to make the very best skin we can even if it doesn't fulfill my dream of total lore unification. And so the Arclight concepts I had done were chosen as they were definitely the coolest. We went with that direction and now we have a few of them and they do a good job of being our 'Angelic Ascention' skin line.

So where does this leave Justicar? They seem to be about 'Justice' but also have feathers and sort of holy light/angelic nature to them. When the Aatrox skin launched it was implied that this was how Demacians see Aatrox because they can't handle nasty demony business (Much like the Blood Moon Kalista skin suggested that this may be how Ionians who make the pact see her) while I have no idea if there was a strong story behind Syndra's skin beyond a 'Good Guy' alternative. At the end of the day they seem to be heroic skins for 'Evil' champions that stand in the light meting out Justice with their eyes fully covered (and heavily reference other video games, if unintentionally).

Or maybe they are the same and the only difference is if their name starts with the letter V.

The following champions can be seen sporting their beach/swimwear in at least one of the numerous, official Pool Party artworks (not including the champions with a skin):

Aatrox Ahri Darius Diana Garen Ezreal Gragas Jinx Karthus Katarina Khazix Lulu Lux Morgana Nidalee Orianna Riven Ryze Taric Teemo Vayne XinZhao Yorick Zac

As well as Urf, and a fish-tail that could belong to Nami, Lock Ness Cho'Gath, some shark-themed Rek'Sai skin, etc. Jinx was actually first revealed in two of 2013's Pool Party artworks.

So far I've found Gragas, Lulu, Lux, Morgana, Nidalee, Zac, Vayne, Jinx, Taric, Orianna, Katarina, Darius, Ahri, Diana, Xin Zhoa, and Ezreal. The other ones I see but the people I'm really curious are the ones who have visible beach attire and not just the ones who you can vaguely make out in the background from silhouettes.

Gragas, Zac, Orianna, Xin Zhao and Yorick are probably the only champions whose "Pool Party" skin wouldn't just be "here, have this champion except more naked" (Pool Party Nidalee would be hard to tell apart from Nidalee). Or, rather, their swimwear has an interesting design element. Yorick is a pool cleaner - his pool strainer weapon and god-knows ghouls; Gragas is wearing one of those old-timey all-in-ones and has what I assume is a giant water ballon for a weapon; Orianna, while probably falling into the more-naked category, looks interesting with a giant beach ball; Xin Zhao has a parasol for a weapon, which could make for some interesting spell effects; and Zac would rock water particle effects, even if he's just blue Zac with a speedo.

If I had to pick a female to fill the mandatory fan-service quota I would probably go with Ahri - since she has room for some watery particle effects and is arguably very well clothed in most of her skins (so being less clothed in one skin wouldn't look similar to her other skins). And if I had to pick a male to fill the flip-side, optional fan-service quota - I would go with Garen or Darius (since I've seen some amazing fan-art for a Pool Party Darius who uses an inflatable axe). Although Xin Zhao might fill this quote while also having the comedic value.

Champions like Morgana and Diana would probably be better suited for an Atlantean skin - and having two skins with watery effects probably wouldn't happen.

EDIT: That said, Diana could work as a parody. She hates the sun after all.
