We have Leona. We have Diana. We have Pantheon. We have the recently released Aurelion Sol. I think Mount Targon needs something as beautiful as Taric.

Just checked his page on the wiki, in addition to the special taunt his old lore is labeled "Outdated" and "no longer considered canon". So yes, he will be an aspect of Targon.
