Concept: Erebor, The Mirror Mage

This is a concept I've been sitting on for a while. I have the basics of him out on paper, however I'm not sure how to work out what I need to set for base stats, damage, mana costs, cooldowns, range, etc so any numbers below are purely speculation or a general idea kind of nonsense. If anyone knows of a simple way to calculate those factors out to ensure that this guy is applicable to the League's existing dynamics (i.e Not too squishy to play, not too OP to defeat,) I'd love your input!

Health: 400 (+75) Health Regen: 4.5 (+0.55) Mana: 250 (+45) Mana Regen: 6.7 (+0.65) Range: 625 Attack Speed: 0.635 (+1.63%) Attack Damage: 50.45 (+2.845) Movement Speed: 335 Magic Resist: 30 (+0) Armor: 18 (+3.45)

Lore: Living alone at the foot of the Ironspike Mountains, Erebor was fascinated by the reflective properties of mirrors. He worked for much of his life creating enchanted mirrors for wealthy customers throughout Runeterra. Before long, his work turned into an obsession when an enchantment gone wrong gave Erebor a glimpse into another world. From that point on, he dedicated his existence to creating a mirror to bridge the gap between worlds. Driven mad by years of failed experiments attempting to re-pierce the veil, another accidental discovery provided a possible solution. In a hollow near the Summoner's Rift, Erebor found the fragments of countless Nexuses lying forgotten after their violent destruction. With their powerful magic he toiled for years, until his efforts were rewarded by his ultimate creation: The Mirror of Erebor. Forged from Nexus shards, the Mirror gave Erebor an incredible power; the ability to assume the very identity of any who had gazed into its depths. Their knowledge, their skills, their ideas, everything that encompassed their existence could be absorbed by the Mirror and transferred to its creator. With this power, Erebor scoured the lands searching for those who held knowledge of other realms. Soon, his search led him to the doors of the Institute of War. Learning of the mysterious creatures from the Void that fought there, he formulated a new plan. He intended to capture the knowledge held by The Eye of the Void itself, and finally achieve his goal.

Mage, Ranged Ideal for mid or solo top lanes.

Abilities:

Passive: Splinter - Every ability cast on a target causes it to be marked. After 3 marks the target is Cut, triggering Grievous Wounds resulting in reduced healing and health regen for 3 seconds. (no health loss, I'd hate to make a ranged Darius) Marks last for 6 seconds.

Q - Shard/Shatter Sends a broken mirror fragment as a projectile dealing 75/80/85/95/105 magic damage and stunning the first target hit for 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds, continuing through to hit enemies behind for reduced damage. Range:? Cost:? CD:?

Magnify: Casts Shatter Sends 3 large shards in a cone. Each shard deals 25/27/29/32/35 magic damage and slowing the target by 15% for 1/1/1.5/2/2.25 seconds, continuing through to hit enemies behind for reduced damage. Range:? Cost:? CD:?

W - Fracture/Bad Luck Causes mirror shards to erupt from the target area, dealing 75/100/150/175/200 magic damage. If an enemy is bleeding when hit, they are knocked airborne and the duration of the bleeding is increased by 1.25 seconds. Range:? Cost:? CD:?

Magnify: Casts Bad Luck Casts Fracture, however Bad Luck also heals for 10%/12.5%/15%/17.5%/20% of damage dealt to any champion hit. Healing effect is doubled if a bleeding champion is hit, however bleeding champions will not be knocked airborne. Range:? Cost:? CD:?

E - Reflect/Distort Creates a spell shield for 3/3.25/3.5/3.75/4 seconds that redirects 40% of incoming damage from incoming champion single target spells back at their caster. Remaining damage is deducted normally. Range:? Cost:? CD:?

Magnify: Casts Distort Mirror shards reflect light around Erebor or a nearby allied champion, granting invisibility for 2/3/3.5/4/4.5 seconds or until the champion attacks. When invisibility ends, the shards erupt outward from the champion, dealing 40/80/120/145/170 true damage and slowing enemies by 10% for 1 second. Range:? Cost:? CD:?

R - Mirror Image/Magnify ---- Needs a very long cooldown On enemy cast: Casts Mirror Image Erebor cloaks himself with the image of the targeted champion, gaining their base stats for 7/14/18 seconds. During this time, Erebor cannot be targeted by enemy turrets or minions. After the spell ends, damage taken while in enemy form will be split 70%/30% between Erebor and the enemy champion whose guise he stole. Range:? Cost:? CD:?

On self cast: Magnify Empowers Erebor's next spell, giving it new abilities. In addition, Erebor gains increase spell vamp and movement speed by 5%/7.5%/10% for 5 seconds. Range:? Cost:? CD:?

Look:

I'd like Erebor to look like an old crazed scientist character kind of; long, messy, unkempt gray hair, clean shaven face, wizened a bit, not sure exactly what to have him wear but probably something like travelling attire or maybe craftsman's clothes. His basic attack could be tiny shards of mirror glass that he either throws, casts, or directs from the mirror by simply pointing.

The Mirror itself would have to be colored like Nexuses, however there are two ways I think it could be done. It could either assume the color of the player's nexus OR it could incorporate shards from both, having a frame made from the purple nexus and the actual reflective surface made from the blue. The Mirror could float behind him while he's moving and circle him when he's stationary. During various spells, I could see the mirror becoming much more dynamic during spell casts; cracking and shooting the shard(s) for his Q, hovering above the radius and angled downwards for his W (maybe when using Bad Luck, the health could be seen as green smoke being absorbed into the mirror from the champ.) moving in front of Erebor for Reflect, sending a shower of small shards for Distort, and for Magnify and Mirror Image, reflecting Erebor then stretching out to make his reflection larger and floating out and reflecting the enemy champ, respectively.

On B, Erebus could make a big show of setting the Mirror up and then just walk through it to appear at the platform.

/D: Dances a tango with his reflection and/or the Mirror. /T: "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the weakest of them all?" or "I'll show them the faces of defeat!" /J: Shapeshifts into the Mirror, and reflects it reflecting itself until both get dizzy and fall backward, shattering. and/or Erebor plays with his reflection in the mirror until it starts differing and he gets confused.

Dialogue:

On selection: "Gaze through the veil."

Movement: "Carve a path." "Pause to reflect." "Look deep." "Show them their folly." "Shatter them." "Show me your secrets." "Their strength will be mine." "Not just your form."

Attacking: "That look on our face!" "A visage of pain." "I see myself, winning." "Shards of power." "Link the realms."

On "Mirror Image" cast: "Now you see me, now you see you!" "Here you come!" "Show me what we've got!"

Enemies: Obviously Vel'Koz, maybe the entire void crew. He wants to gain from them the knowledge of how to travel between dimensions.

Friends: Draven. The guy would almost have to love a guy with a floating mirror following him at all times; he could get a good look at himself whenever he wanted. Maybe LeBlanc too, because they're sort of similar and their ability names are interchangeable. I still think they'd fit a champ like this better, however. Malzahar could also be an ally, just because he could see the potential for Erebor to open the way for the Void creatures to spill into Runeterra just as he has forseen.

Release skin: Saturday Night Erebor or Disco Erebor Erebor is dressed like Travolta in Saturday Night Fever (white jacket and pants, black shoes) with mirrored shades on, and the mirror is a disco ball.

Feedback is very much appreciated; this is my first post anywhere on this site!

Interesting idea. I noticed none of your abilities require bonus Attack Damage or Ability Power. I think your passive is basically thus, every three basic attacks applies Grievous Wounds to target. Grievous Wounds reduces healing effects. Your passive doesn't have a duration; I'm assuming that this is not a permanent thing. Erebor's Q ability deals too much damage in my opinion, and it scales irregularly, going from 100 + 50 + 75 + 25 + 75. His Q's Magnify bonus could be doable, but in a team fight this would demolish the opposition. Overall, all the abilities deal way too much damage and scale irregularly.

I like the idea of a crazy old man in the woods who happens upon some shards of the nexus but i think instead of the purple frame and blue glass how about a random assortment because he could only fit some of the pieces next to each other he seems kinda of complex that would make him fun to learn. Rammus ok.
