so the 1v1 tournament in all stars is on howling abyss, but you can recall and then there's the ring of fire and first to 2 kills wins or sudden death at the end. It's a great way to decide who's better in a legitimised capacity and looks like lots of fun It's so good and I feel like people would love a proper 1v1 game mode. <3

Riot has clearly said that they can't have their programmers work on new game modes because it might tie up their skin team.. who are graphics designers

Hell, they have already made the game mode, just import the one from all stars
And it's not like it won't be played. Over 50% of the custom games you can join are "1v1 with x champ"
rastarogue1 votesThey tried this like 6 years ago. Where they released both a 1v1 and a 2v2 mode as a rotating game mode and they had truly terrible playrates.
