Lore for the Loreless

Just to clarify, this is just my idea on their lore. None of them are canon, so don't throw a tantrum on how it doesn't match your view on these champions.

Also worthy to note, there will be a few champions that'll tie in to a landscape rework concept (I'll link to that with an asterisk). Again, not canon, but want to give their lore some meat; some sweet, tasty, non-canon meat.

All (or some) of the "lore" will be short and simple. If I want to extend them, I'll just create a thread about it if there's enough demand.

Some aren't filled in yet, but if you have an interesting lore idea, I suggest putting them in the comments. If I like it, I'll post it up here and credit you.

Evelynn Evelynn, Shroud of the Night * - Before her transformation, Evelynn was a revered assassin within the capital of Haïta of the unforgiving Hollow Lands. One mission, she was tasked by an anonymous client to assassinate someone who was boarding a ship. She snuck on-board and discovered that her target is planning to meet with a Elise mysterious priestess within the sinister Shadow Isles. Evelynn followed her victim to a cave covered in webs and saw them being horrifically devoured by a monstrous spider. Horrified, she attempted to run back to the ship, but an unknown force siphoned much of her energy and collapsed.

Thought to have died, Evelynn opened her eyes and saw that she has completely transformed. Though not an undead, she has became something more. Right next to her was a Yorick broken figure wielding an ancient shovel in his hands, telling her that he did what he could to prevent her from becoming another soldier to a legion of the dead. He warned her that if she doesn't satisfy herself with the blood of the living, she will soon perish. Evelynn ran to the boat and miraculously sailed back. Her client and his guards were waiting for her as she arrived at the docks. At first they were terrified by her appearance, they didn't buy her story. Out of self-defense, Evelynn slay her oppressors along with her client with her newfound powers and proceed to drink upon the spilled blood of her attackers.

With such potential, she has became more than just an assassin-for-hire, Evelynn became a feared creature of the shadows. Her reputation exceeded with every victim she assassinated, however she payed no attention to how aggressive and blood-hungry she had become. With every passing mission, Evelynn is slowly, but surely, becoming a ravenous monster of the night, thirsting for anyone who are unlucky enough to be on her hit-list.

Fiddlesticks Fiddlesticks the Harbinger of Doom * - [I've already made a full lore of Fiddlesticks, so go and check it out.]

Jax Jax, Grandmaster at Arms - Jax is a mysterious, but legendary figure of Ionia. A former vagabond that has wielded an extraordinary talent of mastering every weapon that has thrown at him. Nobody knew how he became such a grandmaster at arms, all they know that as a lover of good alcohol and an adept fighter, he's destined to wander the world of Runeterra and fight anyone for the thrill of it. At first, Jax was only sighted at major events only to disappear without a trace, but never in the public eyes of locals. Jax has appeared outside of Ionia; he was a famed gladiator within the Fleshing in Noxus, and also fought within an unspecified city of Shurima.

One day, people have spotted the elusive Jax within his very own dojo called the Zhandou Dojo. Within his dojo hold a massive collection of weapons he has claimed from many worthy fighters in the past, however one weapon stood out most and that was his enchanted lamppost, in which he only uses for legendary fighters such as Akali Akali, Shen Shen, and, occasionally, Fiora Fiora. The lamppost was created by early Ionian elders as a tool for him to exorcise and defeat an Nocturne insidious spirit of dreams, in which he described as one of his greatest challenges and achievements.

People have now turned it into a place of entertainment to watch worthy fighters clash with the Grandmaster at Arms only to see them fall. At times the audience will suggest a weapon for Jax to fight with and he still succeeds. Over the years, Jax has won over 152 undisputed fights and going. When will his win-streak break? Nobody knows, but as long as it brings in more fighters across Valoran, Jax will fight them all.

Malphite Malphite, Shard of the Monolith - Malphite was a fragment of an ancient earth elemental that has helped formed the world of Runeterra millenniums ago. As the young world was carved by the raw, and violent magic of the newly--expanding universe, the world of Runeterra was born. Newfound magic has become an important part on creating life upon the world, from raw power comes into the form of four powerful elementals; Well Soterios the Hydrosoul (Water), Suratar the Molten Giant (Fire), Ao Sihde the Crushing Vortex (Wind), and the massive earth elemental known as the Monolith (Earth). With the power gifted to them by the universe, they started forging the magical world of Runeterra; stirring up the mighty seas and its wildlife, erupting volcanoes across the landscape, creating currents of wind and storms, and forming continents, islands, and rows upon rows of mountainous ranges.

As their work in forging the world is finally done, they've decided to disband for the world no longer needs their creators, but hopefully in the future, they will pass on their powerful abilities to their successors in case of recreating the world upon its desperate hour. Suratar's the first to do this, choosing a fire elemental called Brand Brand before descending into the earth and becoming the flaming heart of Runeterra, Ao Sidhe ascended into the newly-formed sky and became the clouds and the air around the world, Well Soterios submerged into the depths of the sea, and the Monolith became one with Runeterra; it's spine became what people called Ironspike Mountains, while its head became Mount Targon.

Centuries later, Ao Sidhe has finally chosen and dubbed a successor to harness its powers; a sky serpent named Ao Shin, who would later produce an offspring of storm serpents. Years later before early Targonians ascended its back, a "piece" of the Monolith fell from its back and plummeted to the land below; this shard will later be known as Malphite. The shard of the Monolith later sprung to life by his predecessor's power, obtaining its ability to manipulate the seismic control of Runeterra while holding the determination to protect all life despite his massive size. Malphite now ventures out to find the other successors of their predecessors to they can one day renew the world when necessary.

Nautilus Nautilus, the Titan of the Depths - Once, Nautilus was a well-known Bilgewater sailor named Oscar "Nautilus" Kursk who was commissioned to explore the uncharted reaches of the Guardian's Sea. This expedition took him deep into unknown waters where he and his crew found a vast section of the ocean's rich blue waves were replaced by a black, oozing liquid that none of the crew could identify. Though their job was to investigate anything new that they found, no man aboard was willing to brave the murk except Nautilus. Only moments after he donned the hulking diver's suit and climbed over the ship's rail, something lurking in the muck grabbed hold of him. He clung to the side of the ship, but the thing below pulled him fiercely, rocking the entire ship. The other sailors grew afraid and made a terrible decision. As he stared and pled for help, they wrenched his grip free of the rail. He tumbled to the ink, grabbing the anchor in futile desperation. As he sank, he could do nothing but watch as the dark outline of his ship faded away. Then everything went black.

When Nautilus awoke, he was something different. The great iron suit was now somehow part of him, he could not tell where it ended and he began. All the details of his memory were fuzzy and indistinct but one fact remained clear: he was left here, alone in the sunless depths, to die. In his hands he still clutched the anchor that belonged to the men who had condemned him. Having no other purpose, he took this clue and trudged - too heavy to swim or run – in search of answers. He wandered without direction or sense of passing time in what felt like an eternal dream. By the time he stumbled upon the shores of Bilgewater, he could find no traces of the man he was. No house, no family, no life to which he could return.

Now all Nautilus wants to do is search throughout the depths of the ocean to find the same enigmatic black ooze that has damned him for eternity and make it pay. No longer human, Nautilus will not rest until he finds it and force it to change him back, even if he has to destroy anything that dares intervene.

Nocturne Nocturne the Eternal Nightmare - Nocturne is a malevolent spirit of dreams created to haunt and slaughter the slumbering mortals of Runeterra. This spiritual menace was formed in the aftermath of the Blessed Isles succumbing to the horrible tragedy known as the Ruination. Once a lost spirit of darkness, Nocturne blindly flew to the peaceful island nation of Ionia, where he delve into the dreams of his very first victim. Feasting upon the dream and life essence of this poor mortal, Nocturne's power grew exponentially, eventually conjuring himself a pair of Umbra Blades to slash and pierce the very dreams of innocents. As he kept slaughtering, the restless people of Ionia has nearly thrown the whole nation into chaos, while those who have survived his encounter has refused to fall asleep again and later went insane. However a handful of monks gave in to Nocturne's eternal shroud and granted them dark, insidious knowledge that has granted them the skills of the shadow.

As this threat engulfs the island like a shroud, the Elders had enough and decided to send out their best warriors to apprehend these "shadow warriors" while they create an enchanted dream-catcher in a form of a lamppost to catch and imprison the deity of darkness. The problem is that nobody dared to fight this monster; they feared that Nocturne will trap them within an endless slumber filled with agonizing nightmares. As their hope of finding a suitor dwindled, a Jax mysterious vagabond appeared at the nick of time. One of the monks used themselves as bait to lure Nocturne to them while the figure wields the lamppost in his hands, waiting for the right moment to exorcise the entity from the monk's mind. As that time came, he used the weapon's magic to pull Nocturne out of his victim's dream and throw him into the physical world. Knowing that he's now vulnerable, the masked figure unleashed a barrage of attacks to subdue Nocturne while the Ionian Elders imprisoned him within a runic box; the very place where he and his dark secrets will remain forever.

As years past, a young Kinkou student named Zed Zed has discovered the box within the temple. With a slight peek, Nocturne's twisted wisdom has injected into the boy's mind with forbidden knowledge of the shadow. Now manipulating the ninja, he has grown an army and seized the temple. As Zed entered the temple, his former master implored him to destroy the box and lead his followers to balance. As Zed attempts to destroy the box, a piece of Nocturne within Zed has taken control of him; corrupting his mind, Zed was forced to decapitate his former master. Now claiming the temple as their own, they have released the evil wraith from his imprisonment. Although Nocturne is now residing in Runeterra in his physical state, he still hungers to engulf Ionia and all of Valoran in darkness. Free from his long imprisonment, Nocturne now soars through the night, slaying anyone who would dare sleep in his presence. However, he must stay alert for one day, the Jax mysterious stranger will come again and stop him.

Orianna Orianna the Lady of Clockwork - Orianna was once a daughter of a Zaunite scientist named Corin Reveck, who transferred from Zaun to the bustling city of Piltover to avoid unspecified enemies he had made. He loved her daughter more than anything in the world, making sure he'll do anything in his power to make Orianna smile.

From a young age, Orianna always wants to be a dancer and perform onstage for the world to see. It has always been her dream to be Valoran's greatest ballet dancer. Every day, she practices her dancing technique, she even took classes at the academy. At the age of 15, Orianna was finally chosen to perform in one of Piltover's biggest plays, The Clockwork Lady, at the Kochavsky Opera House. The play was going smoothly until the Third Act where Orianna was performing as the main character, the Clockwork Lady; tragedy struck as explosions ignited around the auditorium and brought the entire place to the ground. Corin survived, but unfortunately Orianna was found lifeless under the heavy pile of rubble.

Devastated by the loss of his only daughter, Corin fell into a deep depression. Weeks later, Piltover's sheriff Caitlyn Caitlyn reported that it was no accident. Apparently a group of Zaunite hitmen they've captured were paid by an unknown client to destroy the auditorium. Believing that it was his former employer out to get him, Corin secluded himself within his own laboratory and hid for over a month.

During his seclusion, he started working on a clockwork killing machine with Piltovian techmaturgy; creating The Ball as her protector and main weapon, all while Corin slowly losing what remains of his sanity. Now complete, Corin named it Orianna as it bears a resemblance to her beloved daughter, however, what suppose to be Corin's greatest creation became his biggest mistake; Orianna, now harnessing the Ball as her weapon, used it on her own father and murdered him to test her power. What Corin never realized that he programmed her to destroy anyone she sets her eyes on, forgetting to exclude him from her code. Orianna now remain within her creator's home and laboratory; looking over her photo albums of their time together and how things used to be happy, all of it was torn away by someone from Zaun who wanted him suffer.

Shaco Shaco the Demon Jester - Shaco used to be one of Noxus's greatest assassins-for-hire; exalted for his unique style of assassination using deadly Jack-in-the-Boxes, his adept, but bloody skill with a set of stilettos, and his disturbing sense of humor, he was adorned with the title "Demon Jester." Shaco's glory and infamy came to an end when the noble house of Du Couteau rose into power. As their name became legend, Shaco later became a fading memory as people no longer look up to him as this threatening figure as they use to. He's now hired to kill low-priority targets outside of Noxus, in which one day Shaco ventured out to find his victim on the outskirts of Bandle City until he accidentally stumbled upon a Fae that led him to the enchanted jungle called the Glade.

As Shaco aimlessly wander through the Glade, he came across a Lulu small Yordle accompanied by the Fae that led him here. Their encounter was quirky, but they eventually became friends the longer they stayed. Shaco, feeling like the day's coming to a close, decided to leave, but the fairies refused to let him go. Struggling to find the exit, the fairies constantly taunted him, slowly driving him crazy. What felt like an eternity within the Glade, Shaco finally snapped and gave in to the madness. Pulling out his stilettos, he cut each fairy down with a menacing smile behind his mask. Lulu sees his former friend unleashing destruction upon the Glade, she turned him into a furry creature and chased him out.

Without realizing what she had done, Shaco's now finally free, but unfortunately his mind is too far gone. Driven by insanity, Shaco will now unleash chaos upon the world of Runeterra, revealing to everyone as Valoran's fully-functional homicidal maniac.

I like the story for Nocturne and having it relate to Zed, not bad!

You should just replace the current lore team and onehandedly write all lore, becaise this is awesome. Liked how all of them were connected.
