Grandma Fortuna

Passive: Destiny Stitching Grandma’s basic attacks apply karmic stitches to her targets for 5 seconds, these stitches can stack up to four times and grant her basic attacks extra damage on hit, increasing with each stack. These stitches also interact with her other abilities. Stacks are refreshed when Grandma attacks them, if they trigger a Fateful Encounter, or if they enter Reality Unravel. The stitches are consumed by Soul Sewing and Intertwined Destiny

Q: Soul Sewing Grandma shoots a projectile out that upon hitting an enemy champion will sew their spirit in place. The enemy champion for the next 4 seconds (+0.5 seconds per passive stack) has a tether to that place and should they leave the radius they will take massive damage, be dragged back in the direction of their spirit and be stunned for 2 seconds while ending the effect. The radius the enemy champion can move scales with the number of stitches they had on them prior to being struck.

W: Reality Unravel Grandma unravels a flaw in the world at a target location, creating an area that slows by 30% and damages enemy champions for 3% max HP (+ 2% per karmic stitch) that go within. Grandma is channeling while unraveling the area but can move, as she channels the area expands. When Grandma stops channeling the world knits itself back together after a 0.5 second delay snaring all targets still in the area for 1.5 seconds. Casting this on an enemy’s spirit will damage the enemy too, regardless of whether their body is in the area.

E: Fateful Encounter Grandma knows where everyone and everything will go, she can knit a paradox into the world in areas. This paradox is visible only to her and if an enemy walks onto it, it detonates knocking the enemy backwards, revealing them for 6 seconds. If the enemy who triggers the trap has karmic stitches they’re slowed by 20% per stack for 3 seconds. If an ally walks into a paradox it resolves, granting them a heal over time and a movement speed boost.

R: Intertwined Destiny Grandma targets an enemy or an ally. If an ally is selected Grandma can choose to fire a skill shot from their body, should it connect to an enemy champion that enemy will take damage equal to the % Hp lost by the target ally for the next 6 seconds, this damage cannot reduce the target below 5% of their max HP. If Grandma targets an ally she can bind that ally to herself, causing both champions to share a pool of HP between them for 8 seconds, should the pool be reduced to 0 only the ally that received the fatal damage shall die. To target an enemy Grandma must fire a skill shot, if it hits she can fire again from the struck enemy champion. Should two enemy champions be struck their life threads are intertwined for 8 seconds (+1 second per karmic stitch), healing them both up to full health BUT causing them to always be at equal HP percentages, should one target die, their bound ally will be left with 1% of their max HP.

Idea behind her is The Fates from Greek and Roman Mythology. Her R I want to stay as a massive utility spell, which upon skilled use can help teams shred tanks or save carries. Her Q I feel is also kinda key to the design since it was what I originally had planned for her. The rest of her kit is something I just kinda threw together, but I feel it fits and want other people's opinions. Numbers are not fully worked out yet and I would appreciate any input people have to them.

Possible Voice Lines: "Knit one, pearl two, stick a needle into you hehehe" "Thats going to need to be redone" "Who let this get so frayed?" "I remember knitting you, shame how you turned out"

I like it, i mean, who wouldn't want a sowing grandma on the rift. Jokes aside, I see some merit in your kit. the 4 hit passive ain't bad, but can't help but feel that were treading really familiar ground with that. I think clarity issues might plague your ultimate. It could be really annoying to hit your team mate with ulti, but to have them move at the last second, making you miss your skillshot from their body. It also seems a bit loaded overall. However, altogether not a bad attempt at a champ kit and pretty interesting. I could see some of these concept pop up on the rift at some point in time. We'll contact you later about your kit! Cheerio!

I love your concept! If I can, I'd like to tinker with your kit:

  • Passive: Gather the Threads: Whenever Grandmother Fortuna damages an enemy champion, she will pluck a Soul Thread from them. She may only carry up to 4 **Soul Threads **at a time, and the next spell she casts will consume all of the threads for additional effects. These threads disappear after 4 seconds.

  • Q: Stitch the Soul - Grandmother Fortuna throws out an enchanted needle that will tether the soul of any enemy struck to their current location. For 4 seconds, if that enemy moves too far away from its tethered soul, they will be dragged back towards their soul and take damage. The distance the enemy may travel from its soul grows smaller for each Soul Thread that Grandmother Fortuna uses.

  • W: Unravel Reality- Grandmother Fortuna pulls the threads of existence at a target location, creating a tear in reality. While channeling, enemies who enter the affected area will become slowed by 15% per Soul Thread used, and have their vision reduced. When Grandmother Fortuna stops channeling, enemies left in area will become rooted for 0.5 seconds.

  • E: Knot Your Time - Grandmother Fortuna stitches a singularity of alternate timelines together, that only she and her allies may see. For 10 seconds, the next time a champion walks into the singularity, it collapses. Allied: The ally sees all they could become, invigorating them and restoring health and mana per Soul Thread used. Opposing: The enemy sees all their possible demises, withering their resolve, causing them to take damage per Soul Thread used.

  • R: Intertwined Fates - Grandmother Fortuna throws out an enchanted red string. If it hits a champion, it will seek out the next closest champion within range. The bond lasts 3 seconds per Soul Thread used. If it can only strike one champion, the spell fails and the cooldown is refunded by 50%. Two Allies: 20% of the damage taken by each ally is instead taken by the other. Should an ally die while under the effect, the other ally will be healed for 20% of the killed ally's max HP. Two Enemies: 20% of the damage taken by each enemy is also taken by the other. Should an enemy die while under this effect, the other enemy will be slowed by 40%. Ally and Enemy: 40% of the damage dealt to the ally by the bound enemy will be reflected back.
