The Rise of The Unforgiven

Part One: Gone with the Wind

Riven still remembered her encounter with the one they called Yasuo. “Dayeda” she murmured to herself out of force of habit. “Daughter” came a faint voice in the wind. Riven stopped dead and listened, strained for the rest of what she thought she had heard. Once more it came “daughter” and Riven’s brain seemed to spark to life, her tongue moved of its own accord and her mouth began to open and close. “Dayeda” she replied and a voice from the wind began to come frantically. “Tell your father, your master, that Yasuo is fading and by High Noon of June 16th the lonesome cowboy no more will be”

“Wait, tell me more” Riven exclaimed “What does this mean?” but as sudden as it had appeared it was gone, gone with the wind.

“The council has come to its verdict,” Said the first of the tribunal, the woman with the falcon nose. “Based on the information given and the heavy … urging” (she paused to look him deep into the eye) “of Master Konte” she continued “we have agreed to sanctify a quest for the retrieval of Yasuo.” “you will report to the Elder Librarian effective immediately to consult the ancient scrolls, the council is adjourned.”

“The Ancient scrolls are few and far between” began the Elder Librarian, “from what we do know in order to separate the two entities of Yasuo we must confine one of them to a pelt or as the peasants like to call them: a skin; to keep one alive and the other, without the overwhelming power of two entities, combined being sucked in by the void.” The Elder Librarian began to channel as a furious wind whipped around the library throwing scrolls of the shelf left and right, gone with the wind… until only one remained. An ancient fable of a land sought after but never quite found. The Ancient Fable, of the Noble King Riot.

Part Two: The Noble King Riot

The ancient scroll tells of a king in a neighboring tribe to Ionia, a fair and just man was King Riot, who has been fabled by many to have created the worlds around them; due to his knowledge, like an overflowing, never ceasing brook of everyone and thing. He ruled his estate with kindness and an ingenious system. “With mighty wealth comes great responsibility” (his most famous quote) he took to heart and his practices were nothing short.

To any requiring shelter, he would provide. He would feed and clothe them and care for their basic needs and desires tenderly as if they were his own. “But with great responsibility, comes the dulling of foresight and disbelief in reality” (another of his more notable quotes) governed his brain and his genius showed truly. For in life everyone wants more than enough, everyone wants to feel secure and everyone likes that extra bit of comfort. That is where his densely populated, magical sanctuary comes in.

The surrounding countryside is bursting to the brim with magnificent creatures and in turn for an afterlife, before they die, those magnificent works of art would shed their pelt for him, before their very final breath. This left the king with an upgrade of sorts for those who worked hard for his currency (Riot’s Pledge - or RP for short) and proved their unwavering loyalty towards him. With these, the peasants could create marvelous clothes, insulate their houses and create comforting mattress and exquisite beds after a labor-intensive day at work. These works of art the peasants would refer fondly to as skins and the peasants content only swelled King Riots heart giving him pride and a sense of achievement he longed for since the beginning of time.

Good King Riot, My liege; you decide how this story ends:

Will the 19th of June tick over before Yasuo can be rescued from his western counterpart, will the hopes and dreams of a village Ionia desperately needing you be dashed on the rocks of greed?

Or, will once more your fabled kindness prevail and the 292 points provided to save Yasuo from his counterpart, successfully separating the two of them be given to the royal bank of Malice Hunter in time for the final countdown of June 19th?

By: Miles; a 13-year high school student, currently in year 9 in Oceania

Account Name: Malice Hunter (currently an M6 Yasuo with three M7 tokens yet to be combined)

Email: [email protected]

RP desired: 292 - thanks for helping me out Riot :)
