Hey there to anyone that stumbles on this post! This is a champion concept for Selwyn, The Fairy Hero. He is a bruiser carry like Fiora or Camille but with a mixed damage caster twist. That is really strong inside his magic circle but struggles outeside of it! (Disclaimer I really like using these "( )" so get used to them :D and I am not good with numbers so please correct any irregularities you notice.)

Lore: Selwyn was a young carefree fairy that liked to play in the sunflower fields with his friends and to study
elf swordsmanship an ancient art, culture of his people to build your balance and your strength. That until his kingdom was invaded by a group of assassins that wanted to harness the magic of the fairies for their own benefits. The fairies are a shy and easily frighten little folk and most of them didn't dare fight back even when their Queen was captured. Selwyn wasn't on of those fairies. Even though scared, he stood up grabbed his sword which he had practiced with so many times against some poor tree or a bush but never against a person, and charged at the assassins. His enemies disdain him and countered every single one of his attack. But the fairy hero always came back for more. Even when it seemed futile he lift his big, for his size, sword and defended his people. Witnessing this the rest of the fairies were inspired by his resolve and his bravery and started chanting all their magical energy to him. With his friends belief Selwyn easily defeated the invaders and saved his kingdom and his Queen. After that Selwyn was appointed Noble Knight of all the fairies. His friends were always there every time he was fighting someone to believe in their Hero as much as he needed them to. (sorry for the fairytale-like story but that is the point)

Appearance: Selwyn is a young boy with brown hair, pointy ears and sapphire colored eyes. He wears a dark green armor and carries a big (for his size) orange sword. He has insect wings that are always moving and is flying. Also when he uses and stacks, enough fairy magic, a crown and an armor are created by fairydust while his wings and his sword are also stylized by the same effect. For his size think the model for Zoe. He is naughty and playful like all the fairies his age.

Stats: Again not good with numbers but lets give this a try. Health: 570-2020 Health reg: 9.5-22 Mana: 320-1130 Mana reg: 7.5-20.6 Range: 125 Attack Damage: 60-140 Attack Speed: 0.67 (+ 4 – 46.5%) Armor: 32-95 Magic Resist: 32-53 Movement Speed: 350

Passive: Fairies's chosen one! When Selwyn shows his bravery by killing an enemy champion he inspires the fairies to fight for him. So they appear in the battlefield forming a permanent magical circle, a place of power for our hero called "Minor Demesne" (effect radius 600) . The circle appears around the enemy champion the moment after Selwyn scores that kill. Once Selwyn enters this area he gets two things: a buff called "Demesne magic boost" that gives him on hit magic damage, reduces his q cooldown to 4 sec and the ability to consume a stack of "Fairies Belief" to empower one of his abilities. Every "Minor Demesne" holds one stack of "Fairies Belief" that when used has a recharge time of 15 seconds. If Selwyn powers up his Demesne (Explained below) "fairies belief" is recharged immediately. Finally forming more than 4 "Minor Demesne" in a general area (within 2000 units) causes all "Minor Demesne" to power up so they merge to form a "Major Demesne" that holds up to 4 stacks of "Fairies Belief". "Major Demesne" also causes "Demesne magic boost" to grand Selwyn increased aa range(150) and his q range (75) . Once "Major Demesne" is formed every kill scored inside it further increases the buffs of "Demesne Magic Boost" (more magic damage on hit, smaller q cooldown, bigger aa range) as well as the radius of "Major Demesne". (all these scale kinda like Bard's Meep in the sense that they get buff in order but with a pattern that may change as the game progresses).

Q passive: Selwyn's Renowned Bravery Every "Fairydust Sword Strike" that successfully lands on an enemy champion/s grands Selwyn a stack of "Bravery" at three stacks Bravery is consumed to make the wounds of his struck enemy/ies to explode by magic to deal an extra magic damage 25 / 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 (+ 35% AP) over 2.5 sec. Then when next q is activated a "Minor Demesne" is formed around Selwyn.
Q: Fairydust Sword Strike Selwyn pauces for a little (o.3 sec) makes a small dash (250 range) and thrusts forward his sword dealing 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 (+ 65% AD ) physical damage. Every third q on an enemy champion grands Selwyn a shield 95 / 115 / 155 / 175 / 205 (+ 80% AP) the lasts for 3sec. Range 400 Cooldown 10/8/6/4(passive) Q empowered: Fires magic from his sword in a small aoe in the shape of his sword, like a triangle in front of him. (Think old Aatrox e but much smaller and no traveling time like Lucian's q) that deals 70 / 100 / 130 / 160 / 150 (+ 85% AD )(+ 75% AP) mixed damage and grands Selwyn the same shield as his normal q. (this form of is q also gets bufedf by the passive's effect to increase the range) Range 550 Cooldown ? sec (passive) Q empower hold the button: Selwyn starts channeling energy from his Demesne to his sword for up to 4 sec. Then he pauses (0.8 sec) and fires a beam of energy that deals 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 ((+ 65% AP)(+25 X "fairies Belief" (+25% AP)) consumed magic damage in a line. He cant move during this channel. The longer he channels the longer the range (up to 1400 over 2.5 sec) and the more stacks of "The Fairies Belief" he consumes. (Great damage clunky to use)

W: Silver Wind Cut Selwyn fires a shockwave from his sword in a cone in front of him that deals 50 / 85 / 120 / 165 / 210 (+ 60% AP) magic damage and slows enemies caught in the blast by 60% decaying over 1.2 sec. Efect Radius: 700 Angle: 50° Cooldown: 15 / 13.5 / 12 / 10.5 / 9 W empowered: Selwyn fires a shockwave from his sword in a wider cone (50% wider) in front of him that deals (same as normal w) magic damage and knocks back any enemies caught in the blast. (knock back distance 550 units) Efect Radius: 700 Cooldown: (same)

E: Hero's Brave Lunge! Selwyn lunge's in a straight line deal 70 / 100 / 130 / 160 / 190 (+ 80% bonus AD) Physical damage aoe damage at the end of the jump stopping at the first enemy champion or large monster . Getting a kill or an assist refreshes his e cooldown. Cooldown: 20 / 19 / 18 / 17 / 16 Target Range: 500 Effect Radius (damage aoe) : 300 E empowered: He may cast his twice but the second one has a smaller range. Target Range (seceond lunge) : 425 Effect Radius: 300

R: Draw the magic! This ability is only available when inside his Demesne and is available to him from lvl 1 (without having to put a point to it). This ability is similar to the r Leblanc had at same point. He can press r and then the next ability he uses is empowered. Uses a stack of "The Fairies Belief" Cooldown: 20/x/y/1.5 (at lvl1 and at lvl 18) R: The Fairies War Cry! This ability can be cast both outside and inside his demesne (when inside by holding down the button and is available for the first time at lvl 6 normally). Selwyn channels for 1 sec and summons the gathered magic of his people around him. Then gains an attack speed (30 / 45 / 60%) buff also his shield gain from his third q is 25% stronger. These effects lasts for 12 secs. In the same time a big circle (a "Major Demesne" but temporary) is forming slowly (over 20 sec) on the battlefield. This process gets accelerated as Selwyn is in combat (-1 sec for each sec in combat) gets kills (- 3 sec) or lads three q on enemy champions (-5 sec) . When the circle is completed he gains all the buffs from the strongest "Major Demesne" he has created so far in the game and the buffs from his ult "The Fairies War Cry!" are refreshed. It is important to add that if in the time his ult is active he meets the requirements to form his passive the "Minor/ Major Demesne" is then formed normally (permanently) Cooldown: 120 / 110 / 90 sec Effect Radius: 2000 units min/ max ? ( potentially it could be bigger since it mimics the strongest "Major Demesne" formed so far)

Playstyle: I understand that Selwyn seems maybe op or maybe overloaded but he is designed as a late game pick because he is not only restricted by his poor stats, long cooldowns and small base damage but from his need to fight in his territory. Also the forming of the circle his r activates is rather slow and even though the circle itself has a big range (scales as you lvl it) if the fight moves outside of it Slewyn is again at his worst.

This is a hobby of mine! Please if you managed to read through all of this, comment below. I'd like to know what people think of Selwyn, The Fairy Hero!

Hey, I see you've made your own concept! :D

Thematically I think the idea of a warrior-fairy type is pretty cool! There isn't one in league at the moment. The only critisms I can give about him from a lore, perspective is why is he good with a sword? Why would meek/shy and presumably peaceful fairy people have swords? Or people capable of using them? Where/how did he gain his skills? I think this could be easily polished up and written into his story though so not a big issue by any means.

Ability/Playstyle-wise he seems actually pretty fun! Sort of alike an AD/AP-Caster-Fighter. Like if you combined your typical fighter, fiora/camille etc etc, with a mage like xerath (the empowered Q is sort of like a xerath q right?) or ad caster like jayce (kinda maybe). Which seems to offer a lot of different playstyles and versitilty in the kit, but with drawbacks at the same time. And I think thats great! :D

Interestingly the W, Silver Wind Cut, is actually pretty similar to an early early version of Aleira's W I drafted. But it suites this sort of fighter-caster style kit much better I think.

Other than that, I'd love to see some numbers! It's a kit that would definately need to play tested with different base stats, cooldowns, and mana costs to balance, but I think the concept of the abilites are solid!

u gotta work on ur wordiness my friend, you could cut out a lot of fluff and make it easier to read, all in all i do like the interesting fighter mage dynamic you got going on, ive done one myself but i think urs is better

work on the wording of the passive to make it more clear cut and concise and then i wanna read it again
