Leona ideas
So I'll start by saying, Leona
is my favorite champ. There is no question who my main is. That being said i have noticed something kinda disappointing. Out of all the tanks in the game (correct me if I'm wrong), Leona is the only one without some form of shield, heal, damage reduction, permanent stat boost, or any type of sustain in her kit. That really surprises me considering she is a support, and she has rather low base health regeneration(Coming in 18th out of all champs, not TOO bad, but for not having any sustain...). My biggest problem with this is without a heal or shield, her play style is really kamikaze, considering her goal is to jump in and bully in lane, and stay in the middle of the team fight late game. And i don't feel like that is Leona lore wise. She goes in the fight with no protection just hoping they cant deal enough damage to kill her, no she is a protector. Even the trailer shows that. So IDK how exactly, but i think she should be given some type of sustain, whether its a heal, shield, even a stat boost of some kind. Maybe a new passive, or something of the like. I've heard that you care about matching lore with play style, and this all in lane bully that can be punished really easy does not match the lore. Not saying a full rework, though id be open to it, but just a touch up. Its just that when i read her lore and think of this champ, i think of a strong warrior who can take any hit and stay standing, a protector who does just that, protect. But i cant see her doing that in game, since every time she takes a hit , she is hurt permanently, unless you have potions of course. IDK just some food for thought. I'd like to see this implemented but hey maybe its not for a reason i just don't see.

- Passive- Brand of the sun?(Name suggestion always helpful) Leona's abilities apply a mark to any enemy hit, when an ally attacks said enemy, Leona gets a bonus.
Minions=health regeneration (think weaker Soraka
Q heal)
Champions=Minor shield/small armor and mr buff/cdr on abilities etc. (just some of many ideas)
I really like this one, seeing as how her passive feels lacklustered anyhow, and i especially like the armor and mr bonus choice, kind of like thresh

I think it would be interesting to play with this idea, still keeping the mark that has to be activated by allies, for that extra support-y feel. Same as before, but lower the explosion damage, take off the extension of the buff, and give Leona health regeneration based on how many enemy champs hit (think JarvanIV
W, but with health regeneration instead of shield)
I'm not as big of a fan of this one, i feel like Leona's W aoe damage kinda defines her, and it'd be a shame to lower it, but I'm trying to cover every angle here so i added this one too.

supposed to cover that? Especially now with the new quest. I enjoy playing Leona too, but she's pretty strong right now, she has 3 CCs, I think adding a shield or a heal would make her too safe, and way too strong, and she's pretty good right now.
