[Champion Concept] Penarus, Greed's Prophet
Penarus (feel free to suggest different names; will use {this} everywhere his name appears) is a poor man from Demacia that grew unsatisfied with his lot in life. Left Demacia to obtain wealth. Ended up becoming a conman. Had just hit upon his best con yet, founding a new religion based on rewarding worshipers for obtaining and hoarding wealth. Much to his surprise, learned that the god he had invented turned out to actually exist and gave him the power to harness the greed of others by using a rod of gold.
Idea for a Ranged ADC/Support with a unique resource mechanic: Greed. Greed is replenished by all sources of gold income within a limited range around the champion.
Passive - All allied assists on your kills receive bonus gold equal to ({this}'s GP/10 ratio). All sources of your active income are increased by (GP/10 ratio). All sources of income within range of {this} replenish Greed (or if mechanic not adopted, receives extra mana instead).
Q - Curse of Gold: Empowers your next autoattack to Petrify (Gold Statue) the target. While afflicted, all incoming damage has an increased critical strike of (4/8/12/16/20)%. Damage sources that cannot crit are now able to crit but only for 150% and only against this target. Damage sources able to crit have their crit damage increased by an extra 25% (225 normal; 275 with Infinity Edge). If the target is killed, all gold generated from the death is increased by (GP/10 ratio).
W - Corrupting Avarice, Passive: Your autoattacks now apply a Mark of Corruption. This Mark deals magic damage (AP ratio) / sec. Whenever the afflicted target receives active income (from killing champs, minions, etc), the Mark deals a physical damage (AD ratio) spike.
W- Corrupting Avarice, Active: Target allied champion receives a small (AP ratio) heal / sec entitled Boon of Corruption. Additionally, whenever an enemy with a Mark of Corruption DoT causes damage, the champion with a Boon of Corruption HoT receives additional healing equal to (AD ratio)% of the damage.
E - Undue Influence Passive: Gain (to be determined)% of bonus AD as AP and gain (to be determined)% of bonus AP as AD from all sources outside Undue Influence. (The gains should not allow the champ to get the same damage values out of one direction if they went the other.)
E - Undue Influence Active:
- Target minion, champion's minion(not decoys), or small neutral monster follows you as pet until it dies or you die. This does not prevent the obtained pet from expiring due to an existing timer but it does reset that timer. Any existing pet you control reverts to it's previous behavior.
- Target enemy champion is Bribed (similar to Feared except normal speed and effect ends if damaged); and, if you have a pet, an additional effect occurs based on type of pet
- Target allied champion receives an AP/AD buff; and, if you have a pet, an additional effect occurs based on type of pet
R - Greed's Reward: {This} tosses a pile of greed cursed gold onto the ground afflicting all nearby enemy units with Charm (normal speed) towards the pile. The first one to reach the pile becomes stunned for the duration. After the stun, the remaining units are Taunted onto the stunned unit until its death or the duration ends. Damage caused by the Taunted enemies is increased by (AD/AP ratio)
List of pets and the additional abilities they have under Undue Influence (unless otherwise indicated, these affects only last for a limited time)
Map Pets
- Melee Minion - You and your pet's attacks now cause a small Knock Back.
- Caster Minion - Your pet's attacks now have a chance (champ's crit strike ratio) to cause critical strikes (champ's crit strike damage modifier). Additionally, you and your pet gain Attack Speed.
- Siege Minion - You and your pet's attacks become an AoE centered on the target hit.
- Super Minion - You and your pet deal increased damage to map structures such as turrets and inhibitors.
- Raptor - Creates 2 other Raptor's alongside the pet to fight for you for a limited time
- Murk Wolf - Pet becomes a Greater Murk Wolf and your autoattacks hit 1 additional target near the first.
- Sentry - Pet Taunts your autoattack target onto itself.
- Cinderling - You and your pet's attacks now apply a Burning DoT to the target. If the same target continues to be hit, there is a chance (champ's crit strike ratio) that attack will chain to a nearby enemy unit applying all On-Hit effects.
- Krug - You and your pet's attacks now have a chance (champ's crit strike ratio) to stun it's target
- Lesser Wraith - You and your pet gain additional Life Steal and Spell Vamp
- Wolf - You and your pet gain additional Critical Strike Chance and (25%) additional Critical Strike Damage
- Golem - You and your pet gain additional Armor and Magic Resistance
Other Champion's Pets
- Tibbers - You and Tibbers gain Annie's Molten Shield (using her current AP ratio)
- Child of the Grave - The next enemy champion hit by your autoattack causes this pet to pursue them relentlessly with increased damage, attack speed, armor, and magic resist (this makes this pet ignore your clicks until the target dies or the duration of the current Undue Influence ends).
- Ghoul - Your ghoul gains the effect of the other Omens it currently does not have active.
- Revenant - If you would die during the duration, your pet is killed instead and you Resurrect (similar to Zilean's ult or Guardian Angel)
- Spiderling - You and your pet gain a 10% slow on-hit. If you already have an item that slows, it adds 10% to the slow percentage.
- Evolution Turret - Picks up the Turret from its current location. Click again to replant it. Upon replanting, you and it gain increased Attack Speed.
- Sentinel - Your pet's scream now also blinds and silences affected champions
- Voidling - Explodes the current Voidling in a magical damage(current Voidling's AD ratio) AoE that spawns an additional Voidling with a new timer.
- Jack in the Box - Picks up the Box from its current location. Click again to replant it. Upon replanting, both you and it gain Stealth after 2 sec.
- Thorn Spitter - Picks up the Spitter from its current location. Click again to replant it. Upon replanting, Zyra's Deadly Bloom is activated on planted location.
- Vine Lasher - Picks up the Lasher from its current location. Click again to replant it. Upon replanting, Zyra's Grasping Roots is activated in a line from you through the plant to the maximum range.
I welcome all comments and suggestions, especially to determine various ratios to maintain game balance.
