Ivern - Personality Changes?

Being the jungle main that I am and having to listen to Ivern's voice lines repeatedly, something caught my eye when watching a showcase video on the newly revealed champ. He appears to be more of a fun upbeat and champion whereas his voice lines in game Pre-PBE would not suggest so. Which makes me wonder if there were changes in possibly his lore or just his personality after coming through full development.

The teaser elements to a champion tend to not reveal 'everything' of a champion, such as the case with Kindred's mask showing up on deaths, skaarl making a noise in a bush, etc. For Ivern you could make use of the part that he is a 'lover' of the forest so he clearly would be sad if any of the jungle 'friends' would be 'poached' for valuables.

Since his 'lore' works around him having a sudden 'encounter' with a God-Willow or something along those lines i would not be amazed if his 'full story' was him being originally human and he was cursed to become a treant and then he fell in love with nature of his new found senses to forestry and wild life that after maybe a period of 'grief' at what he has done (since he could of originally been a poacher, hence his original name 'Ivern the Terrible' or something like that), he eventually came to love nature itself.
