No way of showing your past year achievement in loading screen (and no, I won't be forced to equip the new icon for that) will pretty much remove any desire to climb for me. I know that there is a desire of RIOT to make us play more but I think they will achieve just the opposite. You can climb for majority of the season to achieve your goal so you can display it for the remaining month or 2? I don't think so.
So I’m not alone in thinking this change feels bad??? The borders are the whole reason I stressed myself out climbing out of gold every year; I like the green border. Guess I’m forced to start way earlier and hope I get lucky
I love it. Didn't get gold due to afks in all 3 series. My main and other account chat restricted because I have no chill. I have never liked Orianna, the ward skins are ugly as sin, and overall this change completely alleviates the lack of a nice border for my 10 sec - 5 min loading screen.
