We have all variations of axes including two handed, double axes, thrown axes, solo axe no shield, pretty much every type of sword and beyond.
The only thing there is that's close is Jayce, but he's balanced around being ranged...
How about a champion that has the lowest base AS in the game but the highest base AD or something like that?

Admiral Will1 votesTaric's a support so I don't know if that would fit. The poppy rework could go that way though and that'd be really cool! As of now though she rocks a big shield and goes pretty ham in terms of assassinating people which doesn't really fit the concept I think.

Lord Boltrix1 votesI agree that we need one, but chances are they will just give Mordekaiser a sledgehammer skin, maybe as a paladin or something. Still, I would love a champion who uses a massive hammer maul and just jumps up and slams his weapon down.
