Here you go. It's not just Zed, it's a few others as well. I read somewhere that the mist is surrounding different champs that have betrayed someone in their lifetime (Not sure about Hec though). Which DOES explain the icon "banner of the betrayer"
Some think it's signalling the arrival of a new champ (Kalista), but who knows.
