[Champion Concept] The Eye, Relic of Death
The Eye, Relic of Death
Background: [Date Redacted] Markus Stork, 17th Day of the Recording In the deepest depths of Shurima there lay stones upon which gravings contained a curiosity. Many would contain what appeared to be an eye, carved smoothly into a mysterious metal. Other than these markings, however, there are no further mentions of this creature. Not a single mention of where, when, what, or even whether it was evil or not. But in all the pictures, the humans lay fully prostrate on the ground before it. Whether they are dead or not is unknown. Deep in the desert, sand danced around heat-worn dunes. Flecks of sand flicked harshly across the desert, following the whims of mother nature. Until, it seemed, they didn't. They hit what appeared to be an invisible barrier, through which no sand would approach, a literal eye of the storm. It was here that my findings have taken me. Here, at last, we will find what I have started to call The Eye. Strangely, as I approached the barrier of sand earlier, I could not enter, finding that my metallic possessions refused to cross the barrier with me. After removing them, I sensed no further inhibitions to entering. The scientists have previously deemed these repulsive dusts in this section of the desert "magmetic dust", and thus I believe to be near to the largest deposit ever seen. But I harbor a strange inhibition, for I can guess as to what this might be. If I am to survive an encounter with The Eye, I must be prepared. I will return once I have prepared some way of combat without metal.

20th Day of the Recording I am dying a death worse than death. My skin oozes, punctured by millions of little dust particles. I approached cough cough the metal tablet yesterday. On it was a single eye, and... oh light, it LOOKED at me. It was just... just a carving but it looked at me... and it hated me. Only one picture is attached, which contains mainly static, except for the crystal clear picture of a carving of an eye glinting evilly at the magical device.
Appearance: The Eye is a floating shard of metal, jagged around the edges and worn with time and rust. As it approaches the center, however, it becomes a prestine shining metal with an inscription of an eye centered on it. Floating around it is dust and shards of various sizes that react when The Eye autoattacks or uses an ability. For the duration of its ultimate, the inscription of the eye glows with a crackling blue light, very similar to electricity.
**Voice: ** The Eye has no voice; however, because of the magmetic interference it gives off, it has trapped magical recordings of others talking. Sometimes when taunting, The Eye will use a distorted and static laced version of the taunt of the champion it is taunting (I.E. Saying you belong in a museum to Ezreal). Other times, it will use what sounds like radio tapes or recordings, even playing off champion's theme music occasionally. The main theory is that it has no voice of its own, and the possibilities are endless.
Abilities:
Passive: Magmetic Dust: Any enemy affected by your abilities or autoattacks causes magmetic dust to accumulate on them. Enemies affected by the dust have reduced mini map vision and vision around themselves, and at full stacks (4) have no mini map vision and reduced vision of 150 units. One stack of magmetic dust is removed for every (1500/1750/2000) units moved by the affected champion. (Lvl 1/7/13)
Q: Shard Spike (11/10/9/8/7): (55/60/65/70/75 mana) Creates a large shard at target location, after .5 sec sends it hurling towards another target location, dealing (45/70/105/140/175)+(.4AP) magic damage. Activating again causes the shard to explode, dealing (40/65/90/115/140)(.2AP) damage. (This is in effect a longer range, wider Viktor laser with a delay, less damage, and a reactivation for extra damage).
W: Fragmented Cannon (4): (45 mana) Passive: hitting enemy champions with abilities or autoattacks grants The Eye stacks of Shards, max. 5 shards. Each shard gives him 2/4/6/8/10 armor and MR. Shards do not fall off over time. Active: He empower his next autoattack to explode with shards at his enemy, dealing an extra (18/26/34/42/50)+(.1AP) magic damage per shard stacked. This autoattack is an AOE attack similar to graves, and has a drastically smaller range than his normal autoattack, with increased range for every stack of magmetic dust the target has.
E: Iron Roots/Iron Maiden (18/16.5/15/13.5/12): (80 mana) Target ally: root ally for 1 sec, causing them to be unable to be moved for any reason, including knockback, knockup, or devour. At the end of the duration or upon reactivation, fling any enemies within 500 units affected by magmetic dust (X) x (60/80/100/120/140) units away, where X is the stacks of magmetic dust. Target Enemy: Ground underneath target becomes extremely magmetic, slowing enemies by 50/60/70/80/99% x .25/.5/.75/1 per stack of dust. (I.E. if ability level 4 and enemy has 2 stacks of magmetic dust, 80% x .5 = 40% slow) Can reactivate to strip all magmetic dust stacks from all enemies in the area, dealing (40/70/100/130/160)(.4AP) + (8/12/15/20/24)(.075AP) damage per magmetic stack.
R: Bermuda's Wrath (180/165/150): (100 mana) After a .5 second delay, for 2/2.5/3 seconds creates a large zone that sucks enemies towards the center at a rate proportional to their armor, mr, and magmetic dust stacks. This also affects the lengths of dashes, and blinks cannot be used inside for the duration. Enemies can still move, with MS based on the direction they are moving and the center of the ult. While in Bermuda's Wrath, The Eye has full stacks of Fragmented Cannon and it's cooldown is reduced to zero.
Playstyle: Mainly meant for a support role, The Eye is a type of poke/mage support currently unseen in the game. It's gameplay is entirely focused around applying stacks of magmetic dust to the opponents and to stack shards on himself, both to facilitate easier jungle ganks through reduction of enemy vision and to boost damage and crowd control in duels in the bot lane. If The Eye is allowed to freely stack shards, his burst is absolutely unparalleled in the bot lane, providing both massive damage and a debilitating slow. However, when his shard stacks are low and his opponents correctly punish his attempts to stack magmetic dust on them, his only tool for fighting is shard spike, a unique skillshot that if placed correctly can deal massive damage and provide two stacks of magmetic dust.
**Laning: ** The Eye is best played in poke lanes that take over the lane from level one. If his marksman can provide the necessary support for The Eye to take over a lane completely. If both hits of shard spike hit an enemy, it provides the necessary range for fragmented cannon to apply massive damage, which can quickly be followed up by an intense slow from iron roots, finishing it off by stripping the magmetic dust from iron maiden. While this combo of skills makes its pre-level 6 laning a force to reckon with, his ultimate is truly a game changer, but has the cooldown to back it up. Increasingly effective on heavily armored enemies, The Eye's ultimate is great at both disengaging from tanks, engaging on tanky supports, and effectively trapping enemies under towers. The Eye's has no mobility though, and is especially easy to gank because his only CC affects those affected by magmetic dust.
**Teamfights: ** This is where The Eye truly shines. While not great at making picks or at clearing waves, his teamfight potential is huge because of the threat of his ultimate. Not only is the suction massive, but the fact that it's fragmented cannon can be used every autoattack means his damage soars in brawly 5v5s. When in these massive teamfights, it has permanent armor and magic resist, as well as its shotgun autoattacks applying magmetic dust to everyone hit, making it both a disruption tool and a damage threat of its own. It's short range can be abused though, and it is also prone to assassination. Lastly, candid use of iron roots can prevent and repel engages from the likes of malphite, yasuo, and others.

P.S. No, this is not a misspelling of magnetic, it is purposeful.
