Victorious Skins Availability

Hello, I have been thinking and I have an idea that I think many of you might agree with. All victorious skins are pretty awesome and I feel many of you might agree. Now because they are only rewarded for those gold and higher, people like me (a bronzy) can not get hold of these, except going to some site and buying them for crazy prices. I feel that riot should GIVE them to gold and higher but allow people lower to BUY them for a price of a legendary skin for a limited time between the end of the ranked season to the beginning of the first LCS split? Any way I hope many of you agree and that this may one day become a reality. But for the moment many of us will just have s.

I disagree. I feel your pain in not getting them (being silver II last season before I lost all internet at my place for a couple of months) but I personally see them as something to strive for. On top of that, it shows something about having the skin. In my placements, every time I say a victorious Morgana, I knew I was going up against someone who at least understood the game to get to gold.

Actually, no. You can't do that. Any site claiming that you can buy a Victorious skin from them is lying. In fact, all skin codes have been disabled for months except for special situations (limited-time windows of opportunity during official convention/championship giveaways, for instance).

TL;DR: All non-Riot sites offering skins for sale right now are scams.

I also disagree with intensely. I was Silver 4 last season and didn't get the skin, but I'm fine with that because I didn't deserve it. The entire point of victorious skins is to show achievement within the game and reward skillful play. To make them purchasable by anyone in the game and simple give them for free to the people who actually earned them belittles the achievement.

The victorious skins are around to inspire you to play better and ascend the ranks, if you can just buy them, then where's the inspiration to climb other than because you feel like it? What goal are you working towards? Borders and a summoner icon? Let's face it, very few if any people use the icons, and the border is only for the loading screen, which you hardly spend any time in unless someone is playing on a computer made of pizza boxes with a router of similar construction.

Furthermore if you're considering buying one of those skin codes, they're false so you'd be better served using your money for toilet paper as Ice Weasel said they've been disabled for months shy of conventions and tournament rewards.
