Before new season started I was in promos for bronze 2 and only needed 1 more win then new season kicks in and placement rankings begin. I win 6 out of 10 game in placement only to be dropped back down to bronze 4. Please riot I beg you show me the logic and explain how someone is supposed to get to silver In the placement games? Do they have have to win all 10. The placement ranking is pointless if I win 6 and lose 4 but still get dropped 2 divisions in bronze. I know absolutely nothing g is gonna be done about it but it's fucking illogical. Why even make us play placement ranking games when it doesn't matter how many we win u just drop us all back to be or b5. Please I'm literally begging you riot show me any logic in it.

I hate playing Promos early. You take the chance of being paired with golds/plats/diamonds, which can make winning much harder. I recommend waiting closer to the end of the season and climbing versus people you can match in still levels. Did this Season 4 and got Silver V by losing 6 and winning 4. Our biggest problem was the hecka trolls/afks that just come with rank in general. This last season I got Bronze 1 when I rushed all 10 promos early and was teamed up with Bronze and plats (I only played to get a boarder. I'm not really a religious ranked player). Now we have the option of 5 man ranked, too, so you can get some friends and climb more later on.

I've heard that after season (Nov-Jan) you can still climb and raise your MMR, so your placements would be higher. Of course, new season has begun. But it's something to keep in mind for next year. Hope that at least answers a little.

Doesn't explain why I drop in rank after winning 6 out of 10 placement games. Everyone I've talked to in game is saying same thing... they were b3, b2, or b1. Some of them winning 7 to 9 of their 10 placement matches but still being dropped to b5 or b4. So why make us play placement matches if they gonna set you back regardless of how good you do
