[Champion Concept] Verigan, The Magus Prodigy

A little idea I had that I thought would make a neat champ design. I don't have any kind of appearance or numbers in mind, only the concept. If you think it's a cool idea you can leave feedback this was just a small idea I came up with in a few minutes and spent an hour writing out of boredom, I'm not really attached to it.

tl;dr - Verigan was a prodigy mage from the high academies of Demacia who's passion for magic exceeded his own morality. He was tired of all the laws surrounding magic and began to obtain materials from Zaun to perform experiments. He found a powerful crystal on the black market that he used to create the most powerful magic in Valoran.

Full Lore - Verigan was a magical prodigy from birth, showing his talent at as early as 3 years old and mastering spells that take the top mages years to master as a teenager. When he came of age he was immediately admitted to the most prestigious academy of Demacia to further his studies. He soon learned that he was not entirely happy in the high academies, and Verigan quickly became irritated by the amount of laws governing magic. Many of the kingdoms of Valoran have very strict laws about magic to prevent its misuse, and Verigan did not like the sheer amount of restriction there is. He felt that many of the laws were only inhibiting humanities progress in making new huge discoveries about magic. When he could not put up with it anymore Verigan decided to begin performing experiments in secret, however he would need some materials deemed illegal for some of his experiments thus he ended up in the one place in Valoran known for its anarchy, Zaun. Verigan began making regular trips to Zaun for supplies, and on one of his excursions he stumbled upon the vast network of black markets in Zaun. These places would sell highly illegal materials, as well as stolen hextech gadgets and magical artifacts. On one of his visits to the black markets he happened upon one of the more respected thieves offering some very strange items. At firsts glance they looked like ordinary crystals, however there was something strange about them. The thief told Verigan that the crystals were incredibly powerful artifacts from an ancient race of Valoran and that they contained the power of hundreds of generations of their race within a single crystal. Unable to pass up such an incredible offer Verigan purchased one of the crystals and rushed home to Demacia to begin experimenting with the amazing item he had just obtained. After weeks of experimentation Verigan used the crystal to create unbelievably powerful magic the likes of which have never been seen. With the crystal in hands Verigan began preparations to show Valoran what magic is truly capable of.

ABILITIES

P - Spirits of the Ancients - Every few seconds Verigan spawns a crystal that slowly orbits around him and interacts with his other abilities. (I was thinking something similar to tentacle spawning, except with crystals. Other champions won't interact with crystals only Verigan. May need a cap.)

Q - Arcane Absolution - Fire a bolt of energy that damages the first enemy hit. If the bolt passes through a crystal, the crystal will be consumed increasing the speed of the bolt and causing the bolt to explode on impact dealing bonus damage and slowing in an area. (Meant to be a spammable ability. Kind of the meant to be your main damage source.)

W - Crystal Flash - Launches a crystal orb in a target direction, reactivating this ability shatters the orb dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and generating an orbiting crystal for each champion hit. At maximum range the orb detonates automatically. (I was thinking it would function kind of like Q. Used to get some crystals in the middle of fights.)

E - Assimilate - Verigan consumes one of his orbiting crystals, gaining a small shield and a burst of movement speed. (Your defensive ability that synergizes with the kiting playstyle you have. The shield isn't supposed to be that significant, the movespeed is the main thing.)

R - Crystal Nova - After a brief channel Verigan releases a massive wave of energy in a cone in front of him, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit. Enemies take more damage the closer they are to Verigan. (Burst ability. Not entirely sure about the range of it. As for the channel time I was thinking something like R.)
