Introduction

Nyweth is a semi-tanky fighter with a heavy focus on combining her skills. The unique mechanic of [Combo starter], [Follow up] and [Combo finisher] gives her incredible flexibilty in her play style due to a total of 17 skills, including her passive. She however will usually only be able to attack her enemies with 3 of these skills in one go. Only through the power of her ultimate she can get chance of throwing out 9 skills in a row. How does that work? Let's take a simple example.

Nyweth has to be at least level 3 and access to all of her basic skills to go for a full combo. She may have access to 15 active skills now but can only use up to three of them. At first she as to start her combo with any [Combo starter] that sets the combo path she'll gain acces to Q [Tail of the lizard], W [Claws of the tiger] or E [Wrath of the dervish]. As soon as she has used a combo starter she will temporarly lose access to the two other combo starters. These to skills will change into the [Follow up] versions of the the combo path Nyweth has choosen and can be used within the next 2.5 seconds. After using one of the two follow up skills the remaining skill will change into a [Combo finisher] which will be available for another 2.5 seconds to end the combo. After that or if unable to use either a follow up or the combo finisher, all skills return to the state of combo starter and will be set on a common cooldown. Successfully finishing a combo will reward Nyweth with a short attack speed buff. With her ultimate running, the combo starter skills will not share a common cooldown for a short time, giving her the oppertunity of delivering one full three hit combo from each combo path. Combos can be easily broken with hard CC, leaving her very vulnerable when her ultimate is not running.

Although Nyweth might have a lot of options to engage an enemy, learning when to use which combo makes her fairly hard to be mastered but should add a lot of fun to the gameplay once you have.

Lore

Born as daughter to the Chief of a small tribe that still holds on to their ancient turf in the Kumungu jungle, Nyweth was trained as a combatant from the day she was old enough to hold a weapon. To make up for her physical disadvantage over the tribe's male warriors and to utilize her speed and agility best, Nyweth's weapon of choice became a whip with a sharp blade at its end. Her tribe tried to stay isolated from the rest of Runeterra as much as possible with great success, until the Rune Wars hit their homeland. This tragedy consolidated the tradition of staying away from outsiders. With Noxian and Demacian lumberjacks cutting through the jungle getting closer to the tribes home with every tree that falls, the time had come to break with traditions and get into diplomatics, to at least establish a safe area around their village. The chief decided to sent his adviser to talk to the lumberjacks directly, who sent him straight to their respectives. After a long, exhausting journey of being send from one superior to another, the adviser returned to inform the chief that the only way to keep the village save was having a representative who would fight for their rights in the so called Leauge of Legends. The chief called for a tournament in which the best warrior of the tribe should be found to defend the interests of the village on the Fields of Justice. Nyweth immedatly signed up for the tournament, willing to prove to her father that she has the strength and also the diplomatic wit to become the tribes first female leader. Nyweth slashed her way through the tournament with ease, as it was the first time she didn't hold back in order to not embarrass the tribe's elite warriors. Standing victorious Nyweth was officially chosen as representive of the tribe and sent to the Institute of War. There she should protect her village and make an impact as future leader of her tribe.

Skills

Passive - Whip routines

All basic skills have a shared cooldown of 8 seconds which is not affected by cooldown reduction. After hitting an enemy with a basic skill [Combo starter] her other basic skills change for 2.5 sec. into [Follow up] skills based on the [Combo Starter] used. Depending on the chosen [Follow up] attack her last basic skill will change into a [Combo finisher] for an additional 2.5 seconds, which returns all skills to their [Combo starter] form and setting them on cooldown. Nyweth may change her target during a combo. If she doesn't manage to use a [Follow up] or [Combo finisher] all skills return to their combo starter form and go on cooldown. If Nyweth lands a [Combo finisher] she gains an attack speed buff of 25% for 4 seconds.

COMBO PATH: TAIL OF THE LIZARD

Combo starter Q - Rising tail

Range: 600 Units

Nyweth swings her whip in a rising motion at the selected enemy, dealing 45/70/95/120/145(+1 total AD) physical damage.

Notes: Rising tail is a plain single target damage skill. It can lead to a good gank setup and harrass or wave clear and escape.

Follow up W - Smashing tail

Range 660 Units

Nyweth jumps 60 units towards the selected enemy smashing her whip on his head, dealing 40/60/80/100/120(+0.6 total AD) physical damage, stunning the target for 1.5 seconds.

Notes: Smashing tail leads to the single target harrass combo of the Tail of the lizard path, allowing an easy combo finisher. It is also very useful to set up ganks.

Combo finisher E - Stinging tail

Range: 620 Units

Nyweth launches her whip with the blade stabing the selected enemy dealing 60/75/90/105/120 (+0.5 total AD) physical damage and applying a grievous wound for 3 seconds, reducing incoming healing and health regeneration by 50%.

Notes: The grievous wound applied by Stinging tail is very useful to lower health regeneration effects like Shen's life tap, Mundo's Sadism or health potions. Lowering the overall sustain of enemies when used regulary.

Follow up E - Wild tail

Range: 620 Units

Nyweth swings her whip in a half circle dealing 50/65/80/95/110(+0.7 total AD) to all enemies in the area.

Notes: Wild tail leads to the AoE and escape path of the Tail of the lizard path. It very helpful for wave clearing and teamfights.

Combo finisher W - Elegant tail

Range: 100-750 Units

Nyweth whirls her whip around her for 1.5 seconds, while dashing towards the selected area, blocking all enemy projectiles while dealing 35/55/75/95/115(+0.5 total AD) physical damage to all enemies she dashes through.

Notes: Elegant tail can be an additional tool of wave clearing, it's actual strength however is gap closing, escaping and blocking projectiles. This skill allows Nyweth to dash over walls. The shorter her dashing distance is the slower her dash will be. She will always go for the full duration of 1.5 seconds if not interupted by an enemy.

COMBO PATH: CLAWS OF THE TIGER

Combo starter W - Crippling claw

Range: 650 Units

Nyweth pulls the selected target 200 Units towards her, dealing 50/70/90/110/130(+0.6 total AD) physical damage and slowing it by 75% for 3 seconds.

Notes: Crippling claw offers great kiting potential or allows for dishing out a good junk of damage.

Follow up Q - Fading claw

Range: 600 Units

Nyweth jumps 100 Units away from her target, while snapping her whip at it dealing 70/90/110/130/150(+0.8 total AD) physical damage.

** Fading claw** increases the distance between you and the target slightly but will not allow Nyweth to pass terrain. If it is used on the same target that was hit by Crippling claw you might find yourself in a comfortable kiting position for a few seconds.

Combo finisher E - Piercing claw

Range: 700 Units

Nyweth launches her whip in selected direction hitting all enemies on its path dealing 60/80/100/120/140(+0.7 total AD) physical damage.

Notes: Piercing claw is a linear skill shot hitting all enemies in a line. Besides its wave clear potential it is also rather easy to land on a target suffering from the slow effect of Crippling claw as well as additional enemies foolish enough to chase you in a straight line.

Follow up E - Dual claw

Range: 600 Units

Nyweth hits the selected target with two quick lashes dealing 0.6/0.7/0.8/0.9/1 total AD physical damage with each hit. This skill applies on-hit effects.

Notes: The speed Nyweth delivers the two lashes is on pair with Evelynn's Ravage. Combined with applying on hit effects it is a heavy single target damage leading to Nyweth's execute skill.

Combo finisher Q - Merciless claw

Range: 600 Units

Nyweth snaps her whip in a quick motion at the selected target dealing 50/70/90/110/130(+0.7 total AD)(+5% of the target's missing health) physical damage.

Notes: Merciless claw is most likely the Combo Finisher of choice when it comes to take out a low life enemy.

COMBO PATH: WRATH OF THE DERVISH

Combo starter E - Whirling dervish

Range: Radius of 550 Units

Nyweth swings her whip in a cirlce dealing 40/60/80/100/120(+0.6 total AD) physical damage to all enemies in the area.

Notes: Whirling dervish is a straight AoE damage skill. It might be the best combo starter when you find yourself surrounded by enemies as it either allows you to restore some health and give your team a little bit more time to come to your aid or gives you the oppertunity of making a nice escape.

Follow up Q - Raging dervish

Range: 650 Units

Quickly lashes her whip at up to 3 enemies, dealing 1.5 total AD damage and restoring 50/75/100/125/150 health for each enemy struck. This skill prefers champions over minions and monsters, striking enemies with lower life first.

Notes: Especially in close fights the health replenished by Raging dervish can swing the battle in your favor.

Combo finisher W - Repellent dervish

Range: Radius of 650 Units

Nyweth smashes her whip on the ground, releasing a circular shockwave pushing all enemies up to 700 Units away and dealing 25/50/75/100/125 (+0.3 total AD) physical damage.

Notes: Repellent dervish allows you to push enemies into turret range and over walls, making up for the very low damage of the skill. All enemies hit will be pushed away to a distance of 700 units from Nyweth's location.

Follow up W - Ascending dervish

Range: Radius 400 Units

Nyweth ascends into the air swinging her whip in a circle dealing 20/60/80/100/120(+0.3 total AD) physical damage to all enemies in the area. She can stay in the air up to 2 seconds becoming untargetable while getting sight in an area of 800 units. Descending after 2 seconds will result in a combo break. She can descend earlier by using the combo finisher or the summoner spell flash. The latter will result in a combo break.

Notes: Ascending dervish initiates Nyweth's best escape.

Combo finisher E - Charging dervish

Range: 800 units

Nyweth wraps her whip around selected enemy pulling herself towards it, immobilizing the enemy for 2 seconds while dealing 30/50/70/90/110(+0.8 total AD) physical damage to it.

Notes: With Charging dervish Nyweth is able to escape ganks by pulling herself towards a monster or enemy minion. She also can flash over a wall when there is no monster or enemy minion available, at least she knows if the area is clear before flashing. Thanks to the 2 second immobilize even an enemy champion further away from his teammates can become an attractive option for your escape.

R - Combo mastery

Cooldown: 70/60/50 seconds

Nyweths Combo Staters don't share a common cooldown for 8 seconds, allowing her to immediately use another combo when her first combo is complete or got interrupted. Giving her the possiblility to go through all Combo Staters in one chain.

Notes: The ultimate is very simple but also very effective. As soon as you pop Combo mastery just go crazy but plan your combos according to the situation.

NOTES

I figured that I'm still not satisfied with the quotes and a few other things, so I rather polish the rest before adding it later this week. It would be very appriciated to get some overall feedback. Especially about the Statistics and Skills. Thanks for reading and have a nice day.

Besides the picture of nidalee (which i'm sure you can modify and post as fan art) I really liked the idea of having a semi-tanky fighter.

It's a great concept, but the picture is a little misleading in the area of uniqueness.. and well, your options for abilities seem almost too much like cheating. Can't cover everything. no offense :) Love it
