I finally cracked it, a way to define ranked system at its finest

We should start a ranked game with 2 group of people with similar ELO, 10 people a group, which is 20 ppl totally. then the next phrase each player can choose 4 most favorable people as their teammates by a KDA chart. then 10 selected most favorable get to play in the same match, and the other 10 least favorable will play against each other as well. and despite your bad behavior or bad performance, after a period of time, those haven't been selected should get punished for example, it should lower their rank or take some of their rank point off of them.

so there it is the concept, I have been playing this game long enough until now due to the player's bad behavior the game is literally unplayable. I was a Diamond 3, I used to get where i was D3 within 15 days from unranked. This season, season 6, some of my challenger, master friends are having trouble climbing the ladder in Platinum division. The main reason is because the match up is very sided or unbalanced, extremely unbalanced.

For Korean server it will be a different case, because korean players really know their places, but for other region, I can say that, no one is going to find there is a difference from a D4 to Gold even silver division in terms of players performance. I had friends that were Plat or gold or silver before season 6, they are just like me, played this game for few years, average material, but somehow, they are just like before, keep playing for fun, but somehow they just got their way to climb to Diamond or high plat.

So here it is this system, it can make good players climb faster until they found a division where they would struggle, it can make bad players derank faster no matter due to their bad behavior or bad performances. They could still find a reasonable match up, after all, those are all that not being selected. Only problem is, the KDA or performance chart and rather we should let them know they are the ones being selected. Thanks.

It is not fair because the ranking of people will be up to strangers. KDA does not always matter. The system as it is now is fine. Somq twiking would make it better.

A much better suggestion is to have the current system calculate your points but additionally your points should be + (and only +) depended on the rating your allies and enemies have given u. For example currently if i win i get 23 lp and if i lose i lose 11. Instead of just winning 23 or losin 11 due to bad temates the system should take in account your performance which could be based on an automated system and your teamates and enemies ratings. For example if i win a game i will still get 23 points from the system but i will also get a +7 for my performance. If i lose i will still lose 11 but i might get a +7 for my performance leaving me at -4 instead of -11. If you were bad u simply will get a + 0.

Actually this is not a bad idea, but I think there's no reason to choose players. The system could automatically calculate the KDAs and match the 5 highest together in a team. That goes on, with the 2nd highest KDAs getting matched together in a team, and so on, the lowest KDAs play against the other low KDAs, and when they win, they have better KDAs so they get a better team, and on and on.

Cue huge concerns about kill stealing, about not getting an assist, etc.

KDA is definitely not something that should become a factor in someone's ranking ability.

The problem is that it doesn't help the worse-off learn. We all need to work together, and in all honesty, being a good teammate has nothing to do with KDA. Maybe a slight rank boost could be given to people with very high honor ranking though. (But in all honesty, teammates who are fun to play with often help you win. It's pretty rare that I've lost when a few of us were good and at least one member of the team had a very positive attitude.)

Another problem this would create is that everyone would avoid dying at all costs. It wouldn't be worth it to sacrifice your life for your teammates lest you lose KDA and get placed poorly in your next game. Risk would be less worthwhile, and next thing you know we have a third of those who did play ranked not playing it anymore, and ranked games taking an average of 50 minutes. (Who knows the exact numbers, but you get my point I'm sure.)

However, I do understand wanting to have control over whom you are placed with. It simply doesn't work in this system, and probably never can.
