Pre-read notes: Please remember that numbers are only representative, and not by any means exact or properly balanced, while feedback on them as representations of strength is appreciated, discussion regarding the actual concept is more so.

General Information

Champion name: Lishya

Appearance: A moderately tall female wearing a dark sleeveless warrior tunic, similarly colored pants and white linen wrapped around the middle part of her feet. Light blue runic inscriptions covering every visible part of her skin. Two long glowing chains are wrapped around each of her lower arms, ending in a spike like blade that she holds in her hands. Three of the same blades hang from long strokes of pale white hair from the back of her head, reaching down to about hip length.

General champion concept: Lishya is meant as a high damage, high mobility fighter, with the downside that she requires an immense amount of mana to upkeep her damage and mobility. Her team fighting ability mostly lies in her ultimate, Mageeater blades, which can allow her to disrupt and damage more central damage dealers in the enemy team from the flank or whilst in a heated battle with their tank or peeler, or simply focus down a single target, should they venture close enough. In general, she becomes much more of a threat as she closes in.

Primary Role: Fighter Secondary Role: Assassin Preferred Lanes: Middle/Top

Base Statistics Resource: Mana Health: 390 (+ 80 per level) Resource: 340 (+ 60 per level) Movement speed: 340 Health Regeneration: 3 (+ 0.5 per level) Mana Regeneration: 5 (+ 1 per level) Damage: 51 (+ 4 per level) Attack Range: 150 (Melee) Attack Animation: A rapid stab with either one of her blade, aimed to pierce the target. Armor: 20 (+ 7 per level) Magic Resist: 35 (+2.5 per level)

Abilities

Passive Ability: Strain magic

On basic attacks and spell hits, apply a stack of Strain magic. When the target uses an ability, all stacks of Strain magic on it are consumed to deal (5+5 per level)(+0.2 Bonus AD) physical damage per stack consumed. Strain magic lasts for 5 Seconds and can stack up to 5 times.

Animation: When Lishya attacks, a small stream of energy falls seeps from the target, forming into a mark that occupies one of five places above it, in a circular pattern, once the target casts an ability, the marks strike down like the swing of a blade, then dissipate rapidly.

Notes: At five stacks, the damage would be about equal to a normal attack.

Ability 1: Manachain

Activation Cost: 75 mana Cooldown: 5 seconds Range: 1000 Missile Speed: 1500

Throws one of Lishyas chains. If it hits an enemy, they will take 50/75/100/125/150 (+0.5 total AD) physical damage and slowing their movement speed by up to 20/25/30/35/40% for 2 seconds, depending on their distance from Lishya (Greater distance -> Lesser slow). Minimum slow: 10%

Animation: Lishya throws the chain on her left hand, which straightens out and flies trough the air towards the targeted direction. If it hits an enemy, it will wrap itself around it for the duration of the slow, the blade impaling it as the passive effect is applied.

Notes: The slow deterioration is linear, following the formula (Maxslow - Minslow) * (Hitrange/Maxrange) + Minslow = Resulting slow. At rank 5 and at 500 range, the slow would be (40-10)*(500/1000) + 10 = 25%

Ability 2: Manaeater

Toggle on cost: 20 mana Toggle off cost: 0 Mana Toggle on Cooldown: 5 second

When toggled, increases attack speed by 40/55/70/85/100% and movement speed by 25%

Drains 20 mana per second while active, the amount of mana drained increases by 5 per second.

Animation: When toggled on, the runic inscriptions on Lishyas body start to shine immensely, blue light spilling out of them like a headlight in the night.

Notes: Keeping up this spell will be essential to Lishyas lategame damage, which in turn would favor high mana builds such as Muramana/Iceborn.

Ability 3: Hungering Dash

Activation Cost: 40 Mana Cooldown: 8/7/6/5/4 seconds Dash Range: 250

Dashes a short distance towards your cursor, consuming all stacks of Strain magic on the closest target within 300 range radius after she reaches the end of her dash, dealing half the stacks damage and restoring 4% of missing mana per stack consumed.

Animation: Lishya instantly dashes the abilities distance, triggering the proc animation effect of the passive on the target affected by the ability, and sending a small, blue globe rapidly towards Lishya, which is consumed in a brief effect similar to that of the mana potion.

Notes: Closest target indicates that the target actually has stacks of Strain Magic, otherwise, the ability will ignore it. This ability can not dash over walls.

Ultimate ability: Mageeater Blades

Cooldown: 30 seconds per blade Summons a manablade to follow the target around. Whenever Lishya does a basic attack, the manablade will copy the attack on the selected target, dealing 20% of the attacks total damage and applying on hit effects. Blades last for 10 seconds Has 1/2/3 charges

Animation: On each cast, one of the blades hanging from Lishyas hair dislodged themselves, dashing towards the target to follow it around, much like pix from Lulus E. When Lishya attacks, the blade will lunge towards the target, stabbing them in whichever direction it came from and applying the passive animation effect. The blade will disappear and return to Lishyas hair when the effect ends.¨

Notes: The blades will apply all on hit effect, such as Ravenous hydra, Frozen mallet, even Iceborn Gauntlet or trinity force. The damage however, will be scaled down accordingly. The charges of Strain Magic applied by this ability are not scaled down, and will do full damage.

Authors recommended items: Attack speed/Magic Resist/Armor boots (Depending on the opposition, in most cases, Magic resist would be preferable for the tenacity) Manamune Iceborn Gauntlet Ravenous Hydra Situational Surivability Item. Situational Surivability Item. Other reccomended items Wit's end Black Cleaver.

Criticism and discussion are both very welcome.

Changelog 10/30/2014: Posted Discussion 11/3/2014: Revamped Ability 2: Manaeater, drain now starts out at 20 mana/second, but scales upwards in a similar fashion to swains ult, thereby increasing by 5 per second maintained, increased the cooldown on toggling it on again to prevent instant resets.

Honestly, this is a pretty cool champion idea. I think the mana cost per second is way too high in this example, but changing it to something like 12-15 mana/second. 50 mana/second would drain your mana way too fast in early game, and maybe mid game too

Thank you for the Feedback, Why I made the mana cost as high as it is, is to, firstly, promote a build centered around it, and secondly, to prevent items like Essence reaver to just keep her capped on mana permanently, which I fear might make her too strong. But it might be too high yes, I will keep it in consideration.
