A support champion, designed to take smite.

I was thinking, it would be really awesome if a support champion had a kit to compliment smite. Such as, its abilities change what smite does. Maybe upgrades an allied minion to a cannon minion. Maybe after using a different ability, smite converts an enemy minion into an allied. After using another ability, smite stuns champions. Perhaps with a marking system. I don't know the nitty gritty. All I know is this champion would bring something very unique to the table. Smite intended on a support champ. Call me crazy but I think that could bring a lot to the game. Especially in the capacity to contest objectives. Who knows. What about smiting enemy minion doubles its gold for your adc? Still leaves the adc to actually last hit it. Let me know what you think? Maybe we can make it happen if this discussion goes far enough.
