LORE: It is often debated about the existence of deities in the world of Runeterra. Many claim to have been blessed, or some event or another to prove such, but they're more or less baseless anecdotes. One of the largest pieces of evidence comes from the two champions who participate in the famed League of Legends, Diana and Leona, who appear to be empowered by their respective gods.
There is a history, before Runeterra, before the Void, before existence, of those who built the world and those who destroyed it, an endless tale of renewal. And these tales and stories lived, not as a mere thoughts and ideas, but tangible creations of the narratives that build the dimensions as we know it. They were not diluted legends you hear today, not mere myths to inspire multiple feelings, but the unbridled emotion that comes with it. Vengeance, romance, anger, they all lived, ancients beyond compare, ideals and truths shaped into perfection, the culmination of each idea ever to exist, concepts to prevail.
And above it all they were led by the fundamental principle of Good. His soul was the sun and his heart shone brighter than any radiance. His blood was dreams, and his tears were hopes. And as he lived, his strength, his spirit would never be vanquished, and Good would never fail in the end.
But then came the Ordered. Riding on the flame of rebellion, they slew the stories and legends. It wasn't an act of malice or hatred. It was simply for the natural way of things to prevail. For order to triumph, chaos could not exist, creativity, the spark of knowledge and ideas. They cut the meat away, and sewed the skin and body of the narratives into a ball for which life was to exist. Stories, legends, ideals and truths, compressed together, into a new creation, an entirely new story.
Yet, 'till the end, Good wouldn't fall. It would never fall, for it was to never fall. The Ordered knew this. They knew that Good was essential to the world they created. And after eons upon eons they finally defeated him, where Good fell. And they took his soul and cast it out in the sky, and threw his heart to the opposite side, and they took his body and wove it in as they pleased, an underlying truth to all the stories, where Good wouldn't fail. And with that, the Ordered vanished, disappearing as Law dictated the universe,
But the fire that is the soul of Good would never quench, and it awoke with a start and a flare. The world the Ordered created would break soon, the stories made to disappear forever, for justice and good was gone, the bleeding body almost fully bled out, and the world founded on these principles to break. And with a burst of flame and a flare of power Good fragmented into an emissary, and he would cleanse everything and remove the blight that this world caused, before the demise of everything pure, so Good would never die.
He thought, therefore he was, and so existed Egothes.
