ways to balance LOL Leaver system

The leaver penalty system can be improved. I don't think its fair that Users have to wait 20 minutes and if the lobby drops they have to wait another 20 minutes. I think that the total time waited as a penalty should be registered with time in game. Or perhaps remembered so that If I miss the prompt to enter another lobby while alt tabbed out thinking the game is loading I don't get penalized twice. This has happened to me at least ten times now and is really irritating.

Leaving people in a 4v5 is also really irritating and unfair.

Best way to fix it? Stop leaving so many games that you get a 20min penalty.

I have never and will never sit staring at the penalty timer poised with anticipation and I think other gamers don't either.

While i do feel like the Leaver Buster system could be improve. i don't think it should be that easy of a punishment. I feel that it shouldnt put you in LPQ if you got back into your game (within a reasonable amount of time) so that it cant prevent people to continuously drop in and out of matches without facing punishment. To be fair though i think the punishment should be a lot harsher, maybe (mainly for people who always leave their games, like leaving and not coming back into the match/AFK) to have it where the punishment gets doubled for every "continuous" leaver/afk game and for every complete game it gets deducted. What people are failing to realize with the Leave Buster is that you shouldnt be leaving your games, especially in a continuous manner. This is a Team game, and needs everyone on the team to help in some way. it would be no different than any other team based game. it sucks when you have a team down and it makes it so the chances of winning even less than it was before.
