Hecarim Skin Concept ----- Pre- Heacrim (With many details, pictures and histories)

Hi, community! Nice to meet everyone here to discuss about skins ideas. I am glad to hear the feedback from all of you, and specially the words from the designers from Riot. You guys can call me Catboy, and feel free to find me on facebook to check some other artworks from me and give more feedback.

Now let's get start!

I was always asking Who was Hecarim? No one knows. So I waited for a skin to come out, just like the Pre- Void skin of Kassadin But it didn't come with my waiting, so I decided to make it visual, so I can share my concept with the designers in a better way and maybe in the future it will come true. Before I started to work, I asked myself: Who is Hecarim NOW? What are his characteristic?

• He is called the "Shadow of War".
• He has a very unique weapon, that is very similar to Xin Zhao's spear, he may relate to Ionia because of this.
• He is relate to horse, at least his butt is.
• He has multiple figure about who he was, but no one really knows.
• He is fast, strong, tanky, and fearsome.
• He can summon and command other horsemen.

According some of his characteristics, he gave me a figure of Asian/ Chinese horsemen. (I don't know how to add picture :p, so I don't know i they show)

Sweet! Now I have a basic idea!

• He was original from Ionia, Ancient Ionia, even older than Master Yi
• He was a general, maybe powerful, maybe famous.
• He was human, and he had a horse.
• He went to the location where is Shadow Isle for some reason, maybe politics, maybe a war.

Now, I started to draw my ideas on paper. One thing that I have to mention here: since my idea is about how he was before he became Hecarim. And I believe he was twisted and mixed with his horse after he was dead, so he will be a human in his skin, and the skin is suppose to have some characteristics of his original look.

I shared this with my best friends, one of them pointed out, something is** too "Chinese"** I looked back to them, he was right and also realize something else:

• The Chinese dragon, there is no China in the world of League of Legends, but Ionia, and Ao Shin.
• The pattern/ carving of the armor is too complicated or small, I bet its performance in game will looks terrible .
• The armor doesn't look mighty enough.
• The horse looks too short.

Then for the next few weeks, I struggled to make new looking for the armor, I asked some of my friends, and they gave me some ideas. **Some other versions for the armor: ** http://i.imgur.com/sC6U9kZ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/X0PNdtd.jpg

But then I looked back to my idea again. The horseman needed to travel to the location where is the Shadow Isle from Ionia, was he possible to finish this if he had to carry those supper heavy metal on his body? I don't think so. So my pencil pointed to the fur armor. Fur armor, light but looks wild, specially when it was made by the fur of some monster, and also looks tanky if it is thick. **V2 for the armor: ** http://i.imgur.com/2Owjjkm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/630i0fn.jpg

It may not be the final version, but I like this the most. It fits the idea of he had to travel for long distant, he also can spin his weapon easier with the light armor since he is a human, and last, people can see thing of the original Hecarim.

Horse, Name: Jade Shadow Headhunter

• It is a war horse made by magical jade, extremely solid. It is wrathful as always, but it is absolute loyal to his owner's commands.
• Sharp fangs, can easily bite off the heads of the enemies.
• Its mighty magical heart left a very big marking on its chest.
• The hoofs that quake the ground when they run, will leave glowing food print on the ground.
• The body with the jade white color.
• Experienced many wars.
• Many cracks located at different parts of its body, blowing out some terrified magical flame smoke, burn its enemies.
• A saddle that full of magical, control the emotion of the horse. (Actually means to control it when the owner ride on it)
• Light jasper jade green flame, looks like the ghost fire.

Weapon, final version, Name: Incomplete ("Incomplete" is the name, because it looks like a piece of jade or moon that is missing a part)

• The blade has a very strange lighting/ smoke effect (not flame).
• The body of the blade is full of beautiful carving.
• Jade- like blade (white), the middle of blade is made by silver.
• After the gap there is no more lighting/ smoke effect.
• Pure white (for the thing that was hanged, I don't even know what's that call in Chinese)
• Gray for the chain.
• Gray for the dragon and also the part that is connecting the blade and handle.
• Gray for the part at the end of the weapon.
• change the dragon to Ao Shin- like.

Armor, final version, no name:

• Covered with many fur and skin.
• Skull. (Shoulder plate, left)
• Huge claw. (Shoulder plate, right)
• Scale armor for base.

**Visual effects: **

• The horseman fights on his foot most of time, instead of on horseback. He will summon his horse when using E ability, ultimate, or when he reaches to a high enough speed.
• Maybe he could change the visual effects of the Summoner Spells? It will be fun!
• Glowing foot prints when the Headhunter runs.
• Light jasper jade green light for swings.
• Lag of ideas hahaha
