Making URFWICK Available Again!

Hey Guys!

I just wanted to take some time and express an idea I had about a way Riot could incorporate Urfwick into the upcoming rework. I know a Rioter had commented that they were looking into options into incorporating Urfwick and Grey Warwick into the game again.

_ This would be very similar to the Championship Riven thing they did this year for worlds _ **For all current owners of the Urfwick skin they would receive: *** A Golden Urfwick skin (Maybe even make it a choice like a Chroma on whether you want to use the Golden One)

They could include a special recall/ taunt where he could emote some sort of Urf reference
Maybe even a free Urf Icon to commemorate the coming of Urf

**For all who want to newly purchase the skin they would receive: *** The skin that is currently unavailable now Urfwick

I think that this would be a good way of honoring Urf and the Urfwick skin while still keeping the antique portion for all those old timers.

This is actually a very brilliant idea. A unique chroma for original owners of the skin is just brilliant. It gives you access to the skin as normal, or a way to show off that you're an original owner, on top of the loading border.

Aside from that, i wouldn't expect it. Championship riven for some reason had a whole lot of hype compared to other limited skins (excluding pax tf i guess). I'd love to see riot squad Singed come back. aswell for judgement Kayle and King Rammus . Well atleast warwick has a chance cuz he gets an update.

ugh, no. stop. you missed it, I missed it, deal with it. I'm still unhappy with how they handled championship riven, oh cool a little crown you can barely see and ZERO change to the artwork (aside from that dumb border) ALL they had to do was give original Championship Riven owners a chroma pack for the skin that's inaccessible to people who didn't play S2. Gold, Red, Pink, Green championship riven's would be dope. Whiners get the skin re-released, and the OG owners actually have a tangible in-game difference, everyone wins. But nope. little crown that's 3 pixels wide.

I personally would LOVE to get my hands on those two Warwick skins considering that I own all of his skins besides those two, and if Riot does try and bring back URF WW, I think a good idea would be to do what they did when they originally released URF WW, donate all that they make from that skin to Manatees, except make it a highly priced skin, like an Ultimate, so it would still be a bit more rare, and then refund all current owners of urf ww the RP they spent on it. Honestly, I wouldn't mind too much if they never bring the skin back since Big Bad Warwick is a thing, but it would be really cool to get that skin.

I personally like that they don't bring some skins back. Even the ones I wish I could get. It is that little bit of charm and is a little special to the players that got it during the said time.

However, if they was to bring back these 2 skins, I wouldn't mind as much as long as they did something for those original owners. Getting some exclusive chroma would suffice for myself. At least then we would still have something special out of it. I would still prefer them to not bring some skins back, but I don't make the rules so I gotta go with the flow lol.

I'd rather not, I'm still a little bit salty that they re-released championship Riven and they did the bare minimum work to make her original one stand out, I think they should've at least given her a special recall to match every single other championship skin that came out after. It's just gonna be half assed if he does get re released, leave him be

Not sure if I like this or not, even though I could still show off with the unique chroma. I just don't like the idea of limited skins being made available again (looking at you, Championship Riven). Just like it would be kinda lame if people could suddenly purchase my Young Ryze (Human Ryze), Silver Kayle or UFO Corki again, not to speak of Black Alistar.

But IF this was done I'd really love your idea with the unique chroma's.

As someone who owns quite a few "rare skins" I say why not. I don't own Urf Warwick, but it would be nice especially with it being updated. This goes for basically any skin that is considered Limited Edition still. Except with the Victorious skin as those are reward for rank play. Basically anything besides that should be legacy. They basically don't even do limited edition skins anymore so why not?

Agree!! its not fair that new players will have this rare skin. MAKE IT RARE FOR OWNERS IN 2010!!! THINK ABOUT IT RIOT! ITS NOT FAIR

As much as i'd like Riot to bring back old skins, i get the vibe they are trying to bury Urf and hype around Urf. If i was feeling sassy i would say it's cause they hate when people have fun, but really Urf's horrible imbalance makes it a really unhealthy and frustrating gamemode to keep long term, and we've seen Riot slowly try to make Urf less prevalent in League's history.
