Modest Clothing for female champions (Settings option or IP point skin)

I feel that a good feature for the game would be for in the settings have an options to have all of the champions wear modest clothing (similar to the hide eye candy option.) Failing that a implementation of a alternate default skin for all champions (particulary for female champions such as Morgana or Zyra ) that would cost either IP or be free. I would think that this might bring many players who want to play but feel bad about playing with immodestly dressed champions or those with parents who don't let their teenagers play games where women are dressed is such ways.

Does anyone else feel the same way or have better Ideas for how to help with this issue.

Censorship is the chains that shackle the artist.

If you honestly think that the vast majority of female champions are immodestly dressed in this game, you clearly haven't played many other games.

And honestly the last thing this game needs are kids that whose parents won't let them play games because of the way pixels are dressed.

I'm surprised you have a bigger issue with the way the girls are dressed in the game. While I won't argue that they obviously tend to appeal to the opposite gender (Hey, you can't argue that sex appeal sells.) I'm more concerned as to you having an issue with this over the salt and harassment that can be seen in the game.

In any case, if you have issues with your son or daughter seeing that, either they are too young to be playing league or honestly you should not be letting them play league. There are many other online games that will provide adequate entertainment without your issue on choice of apparel or character image.

You're so sexist and insensitive! You think that the only thing those "immodestly dressed" champions have going on is their bodies!? You're such a pig and that's such a backwards way of thinking.

Morgana is more than a body for your creeper eyes. She's really strong and her ability to not only support but also take on enemies by herself proves her worth as a CHAMPION and not as a woman. This is the League of LEGENDS, not "League of Women That Need to Change their Wardrobe Just Because You Have Zero Self Control and Zero Tolerance for Anything Out of Your Immediate Beliefs".

You and everyone else who wants more women to dress in more concealing wardrobes is what's currently wrong with this world. Their bodies, their rules. Don't like it? Then close your eyes and get out. You can't tell Morgana how to dress in the same way you can't, and probably won't, tell Braum to put on a shirt. Have you asked Morgana if she wants to conceal her body more? Have you taken her personal opinion on the matter? Don't force your beliefs onto her and especially not onto us.

Besides, I'd much rather have a young child play League than something a little more "revealing" like Grand Theft Auto or Mass Effect. /end sarcasm

That's how silly you sound :P now grow up and try to see the reality of the world instead of trying to fight for some silly cause.

Come fucking on already with this subject.

i have an idea. Tell your child "NO" and have them play age appropriate games. The parental guidance part of the ratings is actually just to serve as a reference guide to parents to help them do their job. Its not on riot to make these decisions, or fix it. The game wasnt designed with elementary aged children in mind (obviously or we wouldnt have this thread) it was meant for teen + and it is no less appropriate than any other T for teen game or pg13 movie....or jcpenny catalog Shaco

TL;DR Dont be lazy, be a parent. nuff said

Gangplank can carve a man's bones while he is still, Thresh can carry a lantern of souls that he is actively torturing for eternity, Tahm Kench can spew lies and crunch the bones of his victims in his mouth, Ahri can seduce men and devour their very essence, and Darius can make a show of beheading all those he deems unworthy of life, but you are concerned that children can't see a woman's bare stomach? What's next, is Graves going to lose his Cigar?

  1. It's just a game
  2. People don't go into the game and zoom into their champ and go damn for 30 minutes
  3. The bigger risk for trigger images is the high res loading images and such, not in game models/skins
  4. You make the objectification of women/men more embedded by hiding the human body then just being real about hey this is what we look like naked
