LOL Targon Game Mode Idea

With the teaser for Zoe Aspect of Twilight released, it brings to mind an idea I had a while ago for a game mode based around the Targonions. What if teams of 3-5 aspects, (PantheonPantheon , LeonaLeona , DianaDiana , TaricTaric , and Zoe) got together to fight a giant OP Aurelion SolAurelionSol ? https://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/d/d8/Aurelion_Sol_Promo_1.png/revision/latest?cb=20170325053123 The mode would start at the foot of Mount Targon and the aspects would travel up the mountain while battling monsters/minions of some kind, similar to the SG event, while leveling up to purchase items after every round. While that is happening, Aurelion Sol (played by a single person) would level up by feasting on minions and attacking the mountain while the aspects dodge his attacks and make the climb. By the end level, after reaching the top of Targon, the aspects would have to work together to bring down a godly Aurelion Sol. That, or Aurelion Sol could be a npc, but the idea would stay the same with the final stage being a show down to bring down the Star Forger himself. It was an idea I had and figured maybe it'd be fun? Anyway, thanks for listening.[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

A super powered aurelion sol with amped up abilities would be so much more eventful than fighting that roided out rift herald loooool not that it wasnt fun and all with the SG

Yes please. No more skin promotion game modes. Sick of dark star mode (literally one champion mode -.-). Star guardian mode was decent but would have been better if all champions were available and the mode was based on the actual game world, not alternative skin universe.

Would be cool to have a mode where various sized Aurelion Sol's comets were constantly rotating around the map while players try to stop him.

I Personally love the idea of the champions climbing the mountain of targon to take down Sol as a boss, to make even hard make a moving Barron boss in there as a mini boss lol but any way things to add to this note i think there should be A Targon Team Skin Line for them since there will be only 6 of them just like sg got some it would be super worth it

Harder mini bosses along the way would be a really cool way to keep it interesting too and works well with the lore :D

I am so down for a Mt. Targon event . Star guardians was really fun and i think if that type of mode was applied again except with Targon and the Aspects united against aurelion sol that would be so badass xD
also it would make sense like fighting up the mountain as in stages , Base of the mountain level 1 then move up like a ladder

I don't think Riot needs to waste time developing these other modes. But that is just me, Riot obviously doesn't mind doing so.

Well I mean I think it could be fun for something more casual and it'd keep the game from getting stale doing the same match type over and over again for the people who want a break or something new?

I mean Riot has already shown they are willing to make gamemodes like this.

It is just my mind, that it isn't worth the development dollars. If people wanted a break... they could play a different game. But I can understand why Riot does not like that. But you can't grab every gamer every hour.

I don't know how long it took to make Invasion. But I imagine it took awhile. And it was only around for a few weeks and it was a pretty pointless mode in the grand scheme.

But again, just my opinion.

You do realize Riot has a team that handles this kind of stuff. A team that's sole purpose is to work on these kind of modes right? In the grand scheme of things the bulk of Riot's development wouldn't be held up by something like this game mode.

You also realize many people like new game modes? Right? Not everyone just solely plays Rift. Some people like something more casual or just something different. So these game modes are good for business and don't have a massive impact on Riot. It's not like a huge systematic change is like Runes or something.

If there's a whole team working on rotating game modes then can they stop with Ascension and Nexus Seige?

I've never had the privilege of playing One For All because I've only been playing for around 10 months and I'd really like to try it.

Just give it some time sadly :/ Runes was a big project and that took everyone on deck to help pretty much so everything was pushed back for several months. I am a huge fan of 1 for all so I cannot wait for it to come back.

I'm thinking maybe it could be something similar to Diablo or the Smite Dungeon Adventure, just don't have a section like that damn spider cave

Honestly, that could work too :] I'd just like to see game modes based around the actual champs and their lore rather than Skin AU themed modes.

Is that all from Targon?

Could another region possibly join them? Because SG Event had 10 champs I believe. Even 10 champs seemed scarce.

Other than that I think it's perfect!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it!!!!!!

There could be other faction game events made that could spotlight a Demacian Game Mode with Demacian champs or Noxus, Bilgewater, ect, but this pitch is mainly just focused on Mount Targon, its aspects, and its lore. Go read the lore on Targon and Aurelion Sol. The gamemode won't make sense unless you have.

yea... i dont see how it doesnt make sense... it could even give a opportunity to expand on aurelions story but regardless i think it makes sense , he is a enemy to pantheon as is already ?

I don't like the idea of it being a person just for the sake of solo queue vs 5 man/vs no option of 5 man. NPC sounds cool, though. I like the idea. I hope they bring some kind of Mt. Targon into the modes. Feels like it's somewhat neglected sometimes. [sg-ahri-2]
