Chu Ko Nu Twitch [Skin Concept]
Greetings summoners,
Dear Riot skin dev Team,
Hi im MightyRat, a passionate Twitch pony/enthusiast since ages and happy to share a skin concept suggestion with all of you today.
You guys can see a Lunar Revel skin concept for
the Plague Rat. I am calling it Chu Ko Nu Twitch. This skin is based on the Lunar Revel event in 2020 which will be the year of the rat. That means that Twitch will get a skin for sure since we all know that Riot is always trying to make a skin for a champion which is fitting into the asian animal star sign circle.
How did i got inspired by this? Well its funny: I was playing Age of Empires II. Some of you guys maybe know that there is the unique unit of the Chinese: The Chu-Ko-Nu crossbowman. The Chu Ko Nu is a rapid fire crossbow from the medieval age ( chinese empire ). And i was thinking this could be perfect for Twitch since 'rapid fire' is an apparent part of his identity and his kit!
So here it is. This awesome piece of art was created by the artist VegaColors. If some of you guys are interested to check out her profile and her gallery (which i highly recommend!): https://vegacolors.deviantart.com/
Also worth to mention: She created the well known 'Dragon Master Swain' skin concept.
Lets get to the deeper thoughts behind this skin.
His ability effects:
Passive - Deadly Venom: Asian lookin rat head as passive symbol
Q - Ambush: Nothing thinked about it honestly. My inspiriation took everything into how the splash could looks like or Twitch himself ingame so yeah no idea yet.
W - Venom Cask: Definitely a firecracker with fireworks as a trigger effect after exploding on ground instead of gas/toxic stuff.
E - Contaminate: Glowing fire looking like after use. (the projectile which is flying to the enemy after using E is usually a green slimy looking thing)
R - Spray and Pray: Fireworks! TONS OF FIREWORKS! Im thinking about similiar projectiles like in Kog's
ult.
So thats it so far. Any feedback and thoughts are welcome. Feel free to share your opinions with me and the artist. Im looking forward for Lunar Revel in 2020 and i would be honored to see a Riot dev posting here and sharing his thoughts about this suggestion with us! :]
What else to say? Oh yes..
Good luckk on the Rift summoners!
