Hextech Crafting Your opinions and stuff

What do you guys think about hextech crafting? I think its a cool idea but riot failed with the whole essence thing. Same with masteries i've got 3 mastery tokes for jhin but i cant get him to lvl 7 beacuse im lacking blue essence. I hope riot sees this post and does something about the Hextech or at least masteries beacuse idea is really good (rewards for mastering the champion ) but essence kinda ruins it. I think that mastery lvl 6 and 7 should be free for everyone :)
