Eternum Theme

Alright, so with all these amazing, cool, future tech skin themes out and about. PROJECT, Battlecast and Mecha. I desire more for the Eternum skins! Sure there is only 2 of them, Nocturne and Rek'Sai. But There has to be a background to it, a lore of some kind. All I can piece and speculate is if you have played the Mass Effect Trilogy they are similar to the Reapers. The Eternum theme is similar to that. Going off by Nocturnes quotes "The first are we. The last are we.", "We transcend time.", and "Their existence is a mistake." It seems like and are a far futuristic machine race that is sent or only purpose is to watch/destroy over their galaxy/planet. I love this theme the most out of any of them. Down to the design of the sleek and flawless armor with that red, soul like glow coming out of them and to a champion's quote. But what is the backstory of these skins? Is there more coming far down the line? Is there more Eternum skins coming? Is this just the beginning of their invasion to fix this "mistake". Is Noc and Rek just the sovereign beginning of what's coming? Already trying to destroy what is around them?

If anyone has ideas for a lore for this, please discuss! Hell Riot if you can give me some sort of lore for this amazing skin theme, please help!

It's totally referencing/based upon Reapers from Mass Effect. A synthetic/organic hybrid race designed to harvest advanced life in the galaxy in order to gather data/resources. I love it.

I would love to see more of the Eternum skins, next to the guardians of the sands series, they're my favorite set. I think it's just difficult to find proper champions to give them to.

I just can't think of many proper candidates at least based on who has received them already you know? They seem to go to champions with tail-like appendages, and no, or virtually nonexistent legs.

I definitely want to see more though.

I believe its been said in a QnA for Rek'Sai that the eternum skin line is indeed similar to Mecha and Battlecast in its technological viewpoint, but that Eternum is a literal fusion of flesh and metal (and i don't mean enhancing a body with augmentations like in PROJECT: skins, but litteraly infusing metal into skin to make it stronger). But i can definitely see it as being something more sinister of nature. It does indeed seem like the Eternum is involved with creation or atleast watches other lifeforms with disgust, as evidenced by Nocturne: : Their existence is a mistake. : Beings of this plane are no threat. Rah!

One thing I like about Eternum nocturne is how it correlates with his backstory. Nocturne himself is speculated to be a materialization of human fear and nightmares, So maybe Eternum has some form of relation to fear or to dreams? You gotta admit, Rek'Sai is pretty scary too.
