Delta, Ionia’s Whisper Fighter/Assassin/Slayer

Passive: Never One: When Delta’s blades are separated, he gains 20% additional movement speed while moving toward them and an additional 50% for 1.5 seconds after collecting the fallen blade. (70 total percent bonus) _Delta’s Attack speed is cut in half when he is missing one of his blades. _

Q: Phase Dive: When activated, delta has .25/.5/.7/1.0/1.25 seconds of invulnerability and cannot move. If hit with any attack during this time, Delta will jump back 300 units and then immediately lunge toward the source of the damage, striking them for 20/35/50/65/80 +(30/35/40/45/50% of avoided damage) physical damage. Mana: 70 Mana Cooldown: 24/22/20/18/16 Seconds Range: N/A

W: Bleeding Blade: Delta stabs the target— No target selected: Delta stabs the ground at his feet, creating a homing point to run to using his passive. Reactivate while walking over this point to pick it up. Minion Targeted: Minions cannot be targeted unless this attack would kill them. If used on a minion, you do not lose a blade and this attack costs no Mana, but the cooldown remains. Champion Targeted: On first cast, this stabs the enemy champion, dealing 40/80/120/160/200 (+65% Bonus AD) Physical damage. It also leaves the blade inside the enemy, allowing you to use them as a target for you passive. The blade stays in them for 3 seconds or until retrieved. A second cast within 3 seconds will pull the blade out, dealing an additional 20/40/60/80/100 (+10% Bonus AD) Physical Damage and Blood Marking them for 2 seconds.

Blood Mark: Delta deals 100% more damage to this target on his next strike, but also takes 100% more damage from this target until the mark ends. Mana: 95 Mana on each Cast Cooldown: 2 Seconds for second cast, 7 seconds to perform again Range: 400

E: Circle Saw: Delta jumps forward a short distance and slices all enemies between him and his target location for 20/50/80/110/140 +(90% Bonus AD) +(120% Bonus AP) physical damage. If struck during Circle Saw’s jump, the ability is canceled and travels no further. Mana: 30/35/40/45/50 Mana Cooldown: 15/13/11/9/7 Seconds Range: 500 Length, 300 Width

R: Shear Streak: Delta channels for .15 seconds and then blinks forward toward a target location. All champions between the starting and ending points of Shear Streak are Blood Marked for the next 5 seconds. In addition, Delta gains 30/40/50 Armor and Magic Resist decaying over 2 seconds if the attack hits at least one champion. This attack deals 90/180/270 (+110% Bonus AD) (+90% Bonus AP) physical damage to all targets hit. Mana: 125 Mana Cooldown: 120 Seconds Range: 2500 length never shorter, 250 Width

Play Style Delta is exceptional at the all-in strategy. His passive allows him to stick to targets he's used Bleeding Blade on, and then mark them for massive damage afterward. Do beware though, Delta's increased damage comes at the price of exposing himself to more damage, and therefore making himself rather weak to the burstier champions at Zed ,Syndra , and especially Ahri because her charm can prevent him from ever triggering the mark. At early levels, take E and use the low mana cost to widdle down minion waves and farm under turret, as levels 1-5 are your weakest points. Your W isn't bad for farming either, as killing minions refunds the mana. All early game youre looking for one of two items: item 3078 to allow you to deal heavy damage without the need to second cast Bleeding Blade, oritem 3004 for the extra mana, as you are rather hungry for it. It is also extremely important to take Cooldown reduction to allow you to mark and Circle Saw as many enemies as possible.

Counterplay Do note that Bleeding Blade's damage bonus also allows you to deal more to him. 100% more for 2 seconds, in fact. As the Diamond Zed main you are, it should also please you to know that Phase Dive only blocks one ability, therefore opening Delta up to a massive amount of damage if he tries to all in you. To fight delta, you must always keep him on his back foot. If he uses Phase dive to go in on you, even with 45% CDR, you should know he cant use it for another 8.8 seconds at least so this is your time to shine. If he uses Bleeding blade on you, he has 3 seconds to mark you. You have 2 options here.

  1. He's already used his ability to avoid damage, go ahead and TAKE the mark, then immediately counter attack. Thinking about it, Ahri andZed will be best at this strategy because they can prevent him from ever triggering his mark.
  2. Bring him out for 3 seconds. Just use a mobility ability to get away from him. At the end of Bleeding blade, he'll be down a total of 165 mana, possibly 215 if he tried to Circle Saw to get closer to you, and he still has 5 seconds on his Q, and 7 on his W. This is your time to counter all in. Just watch out for the ult.

Build Paths item 3158 item 3078 item 3812 item 3074 item 3742 item 3026 This build accomplishes a few tasks. It provides you with reliable damage outside of marking people, grants reliable lifesteal, 30% CDR, reasonable bulk to stack onto your ult, and makes it where you never have to rely on attack speed, since you do lose half of it each time you cast W for the first time. It also grants considerable movement speed bonuses, which will stack nicely with your passive. item 3158 item 3042 item 3025 item 3046 item 3071 item 3022 This build is for a beefy more AA oriented build. The armor and health will allow you to reliably trade, especially against a marked target, and the 40% CDR will allow you to use your multiple mobility abilities to their fullest, while the extra 1,500 Mana is perfect for spamming away. Note the phantom Dancers are not really needed, they are mostly there for the movement through units on your way to chase down, mark, and kill targets. item 3020 item 3100 item 3157 item 3115 item 3152 item 3089 If you'll notice, your W and R have decent AP scaling. This build will allow you to make the most of that.

Quotes Draven > "Deeeeeltaaaah." Darius > "Nothing will stop me from taking your head!" When moving > "Like a whisper." When moving 2 > "Never seen, never heard." When idle for 30 seconds > "All this mobility and you want me to stand still..." On Q > "Nice try!" On Q 2 > "Not even close!" On E > "Over here!" On E 2 > "Take it!" On R > "Level them all!" On R 2 > "Move through the shadows!"

There we go, my first champion concept. Lore and whatnot will come later. Tell me what ya think!
