Project crafting

Hey, so I got "project zed" from the project chest, and I turned it into skin shard with those Projects cores and now it's a skin shard, the problem is that I don't own zed so I am savin ip for him. Now I don't think I'll get this ip, so I want to know if in August 16th the shard will disappear or something? I want to make it clear, It is now in my skin loot and I have enough essence to buy it.
