[Champion Concept] Ed'ih the Void Mercenary
All of the champions from the void are creature like, but that doesn't mean humanoids don't exist there. This is a concept of a humanoid void alien with incredibly advanced technology that came through the void to destroy. He has high AOE damage and is good at staying back in team fights, but engaging also has high reward for him, as rushing in while being backed up by your R or W makes killing a breeze. His R needs lots of setup so he relies on teammates, but in the end, he's the one doing all the work.
He has very visible counterplay, being susceptible to high mobility champions, and heavily relying on his teammates for help. However, he is amazing against tanks and slow moving squishies, with his percent health damage, slows, and ult.
He looks like a gray headed human, with a purple cloak and scarf, high tech gray armor, Blue energy lightsaber like knives protruding from top of hands (assassins creed style, but on top) and yellow eyes sunken deep into his head. You can only see the top half of his head, the rest is covered in armor or cloth.
Passive: Supernova Suicide When Ed'ih is killed, he begins to laugh maniacally and presses a button on his wrist, cause his armor to glow with purple energy, after 1.5 seconds, he erupts with void energy, stunning all units around him for 3 seconds. after the stun has ended, he detonates, dealing massive percent health damage. Because this is easy to escape from, the stun and damage are both large, and him dying in a team fight can change the tide for the better.
Q: Void Glaive Ed'ih throws a glaive in a skillshot, and when hitting an enemy it will slow them for a small amount, but for a significant time, then reflect off of them in the direction of another enemy (Who will then get slowed, but even less). since it is a skillshot and not targeted, enemies can flash or dash away. When he throws the glaive, it will continue in a straight line for 3000 units, then drop to the ground. If it hits a wall, it will stick into it. Touching the glaive again after it has fallen or stabbed into a wall will reduce the cooldown by 70%. Also, after hitting three units, the chance of it rebounding again will drop from 100%, to 90%, to 75%, to 30%, to 10%, then 5%, overtime it hits another unit.( deals percent health damage that drops off after hitting multiple enemies) This is a great way to disrupt enemy grouping in a team fight, and also great for nailing that one person who flashed away with 12 health left.
W: Void Blades After activating this ability, Ed'ihs void blades on his wrists extend slightly and his armor burns a slight blue tinge. His next three attacks cause him to short range blink to his target and ignore 25% of armor (at all levels). Think of it as three ekko E's, but without the extra damage. This is great for catching up to high mobility champions who can easily escape from some of your other abilities.
E: Sanitization Protocol Ed'ih presses a few buttons on his wrist (small windup), whereafter a small drone teleports into the air. The drone will then systematically hover over nearby units, beaming down an energy beam onto them, dealing medium amounts of true damage over time. After the drone has damaged a unit for a certain amount of time, it will teleport above another one, and will continue to do so until it has dealt a certain amount of damage overall. If Ed'ih damages a unit, the drone will hover over them until its timer on them has run out, then hovering above another unit. This is an amazing tool for clearing minion waves and also getting that poke and or chip damage in team fights. You have to be near an enemy unit for this to activate, otherwise nothing will happen.
R:Purifying Light This is what makes Ed'ih a huge danger for grouped up opponents, and dangerous for stealing epic monsters. In a large range, but not unlimited( think kenches ult range at level 1) Ed'ih taps a few buttons on his wrist and then laughs, which can be heard all around the map( like nocturne). A HUGE void alien ship descend from a rip into dimensions, and starts preparing a laser ( about the size, and windup of a redemption) which will then deal 20% of all units (except monsters, just deals a flat amount of damage) health in true damage every 2 seconds. This laser blasts the ground for a total of 12 seconds at all ranks. The only thing upgraded when you upgrade this ability is the cooldown and mana cost are reduced. Units inside the death laser are slowed, and are almost guaranteed dead if you are stuck in the center. This heavily disrupts enemy positioning in teamfights, and can also be a great tool to punish for an Ashe arrow or other major stun. You can also use this to stop enemies running away from you, as they don't want to run into a mega laser of death, or protecting yourself from where a melee champion such as darius could be hunting you down, and you could use the laser to provide a safe zone for you and your allies to run into.
His lore would be simple, although a tad more complicated than the other void champions. Goes like this: A hole was ripped into the void one day by curious Zaunite scientists. It was a mistake. Something on the other side was waiting, and the moment the portal was opened, a blur of purple and blue flew out from the rip, killing all in its path. Machines emerged from the portal, as well as energy projectiles, destroying everything in the room. The only mistake that the creature made was that the lasers destroyed the machine keeping the rip open, and so it was closed. Yet still, this harrowing being marched onward, laying everything not deemed clean by his hand to waste.
Ed'ih is a sort of a void germaphobe, as he wants all to be clean (dead basically) so he can exist in the world without complication, and the void can corrupt this world too. His voice lines would be unintelligible void gibberish while summoning the drone or the ship, as well as quotes and taunts similar to jhins such as "I will purify you" "My hand wipes away the virus you call life" "Clean is a state of mind" his joke would go something like this "No sweeping grime under the rug. You wouldn't fit" or "Don't touch me! Thats nasty..." for his taunt he would say " You aren't clean. None of you are!" or " Cleanliness can only be achieved through pure order"
