Suggestion for spell pings

So when I play the game I always lack the option to ping that my enemy has his spell active when my jungle is ganking etc. When I first found out that we can ping spells now I clicked "G" it showed on the chat. For example - Zed ignite Then I tried to use "V" on it but nothing happened, I was excepting for the same outcome but Zed would be written in the green color. So what does it mean? I wanted a option to ping when the enemy doesn't have a spell (If you saw it of course) and if enemy has it. I even made a image for this. The highlighted names mean that text would be green if you clicked "V" I hope you understand.
