Gbayy99, a somewhat popular youtuber, has been advocating for a while for a thief type champion that directly influences the gold in the game. I am by no means a champion designer, but have designed other champion ideas before just for fun. The balance on the champion will probably be way off, but I just want to have it here as a concept, something for someone else to refine and make real. I also apologize for the bad lore, once again, i just wanted to give a base for someone else to go off of.

Gwalyn - The King of thieves

Gwalyn is a melee thief support who fights with knives and is focused around using gold to his advantage and stealing it from enemies and giving it to his allies.

Passive - Quick hands - When an enemy nearby Gwalyn last hits a minion or monster the enemy receives 3/4/5 less gold and Gwayling receives 4/5/6 gold level 6/11/16

Q - Black market connections - Gwalyn can be used as a store, selling health and mana potions, all 4 elixers, sight and vision wards, doran’s items, and trinkets (but not trinket upgrades, for 10% increased price (you need to be close enough to use the store, but once the store is open if Gwalyn walks away it does not stop you from buying items) *There should be a smaller U.I. for this shop or one more on the side of the screen so the player can maintain awareness while buying instead of being blinded like the normal shop tab level 2- items are at a 5% markup 3- Items are sold for normal price 4- Items are sold for 5% under price 5- Items are sold for 10% under price Gwyln can use his own shop and has items only he can buy, these items cost 75 gold and he can only have 2 of an item at a time and only one given item, the item is activated using Q.

Smoke pellet - active item - limits enemy vision while inside the radies and allows Gwalyn to be invisible while inside it (like twilight shroud)

Poison - active item Gwyln's daggers become poisoned for 6 seconds, dealing 40/50/60/70 + 7% of his current gold as poison damage over 3 seconds to enemies he hits.

Throwing knives - Gwalyn’s next 10 auto attacks become ranged and deal 5% of his current gold as bonus attack damage

Firework - Gwalyn reveals a nearby area, gainging vision and stunning anyone hit for .25/.5/.75/1/1.25 second (costs 100 gold instead and can only store 1)

W - Money laundering - Gwalyn can present an ally with a contract, if they accept (by clicking on Gwalyn’s portrait on the left maybe? not sure yet) the ally receives 50% of Gwalyn’s stolen gold and Gwalyn receives 4% of whatever stat the ally has put the most gold into. (does not take from the ally, just adds to Gwalyn) This deal can be made with multiple teammates at higher levels. 1 - can make a deal with 1 ally 2 - can make a deal with up to 2 allies (25% each) and he receives 5% of the stat 3 - can make a deal with up to 3 allies (16.66%) 6% of the stat 4 - can make a deal with up to 4 allies (12.5%) 7% of the stat 5 - Allies recieve the bonus back from Gwalyn and the increase becomes 8% The deal can be canceled at any time by either side of the deal by clicking on the characters portrait

(changed it from Gwalyn recieving 10% of allies gold from farming that scales so it pools to equal 10% across all allies)

E - Bribbery Passive - Gwalyn can see (abave the chamions head when he mouses over them) how much gold enemies have.

Active - Gwalyn pays off the Enemy, reducing damage they deal to your team by 10/12/14/16/18% for 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/2.75 seconds. He pays the enemy 12% of the enemy's current gold (close to melee range)

R - Why I’m the King - Gwalyn disappears into the shadows, becoming invisible for 5/7/9 seconds after a 2 second delay, upon reappearing he throws a smoke bomb, dealing 100 + 10% of his current gold to all enemies hit, muting enemies and limiting their vision. the bomb last 4/4.5/5 seconds and Gwalyn steals 5% of his current gold from all enemies in the smoke at the time it is activated. The stealth may be ended early to drop a smoke bomb where he is by re-activating the spell or if he clicks to move to an allied champion within (x) range he drops the smoke bomb and jumps to that ally without stealing any gold.

Gwalyn was abandoned by his family at the age of 12 in the piltover. His parent’s couldn’t afford to keep him around and wanted him to be somewhere where he is surrounded by technology and scholars. Gwalyn on the other hand, liked piltover because all of the scholars keep their technology in their front pockets. He started out doing simple pickpocketing tricks or snatching watches, but became more sophisticated, even introducing himself to people using aliases and robbing people blind while having a simple conversation with them. By the time he was 20 he was known by the thieves as the best there is. But then Jinx started wreaking havoc and everything changed for Gwalyn. Every thief now resorted to looting, stealing from the demolished buildings while the cops are too busy dealing with Jinx to care. Gwalyn took a more bureaucratic approach, using his wealth to start a black market where the thieves could sell their stolen good or buy from others. He would have sleepers cells put into powerful organisations in piltover, and pay off businesses for technology to equip the robbers with. He organised the thieves and funded them, making them work as a unit instead of individually. He is revered as the king of thieves for turning them from simple looters to a prospering society that feeds of other prospering societies. Currently Gwalyn is trying to expand into other cities and has recently joined the League as, if anything, a publicity stunt to show businesses his organisation’s power and to prove to the police that he is too powerful to be stopped

I know this is probably pretty bad, but any feedback is great, This is just something a threw together in an hour because i thought it introduced cool concepts.

He certainly sounds interesting. Although his contract move sounds like the old TwistedFate passive. So if Riot decides to put this in, it might get nerfed, A LOT! But yea, other than that, I like this idea!
