Anyone else wants a new Volibear skin?

Alright so I guess I can see why they wouldn't want to make a Championship Volibear since Thunder Lord Voli already kinda looks like a Championship skin. (Also, I have no idea how they choose which champions get Championship skins and I don't follow the tournaments, I play casually for fun.) But come on, couldn't they make him a PROJECT skin or something?

Also, the one I really, really want is a God-King Voli. I mean, he's a Demi-God so technically a God and thus could potentially get one, right? Or is that something they where only planning to do for Garen and Darius?

Any other Voli fans out there?

I'm interested in what you guys think, any of you have an idea for a cool Voli skin or do you have another champion you like who hasen't gotten a skin in a while?

They won't make a skin for Volibear anytime soon though, as his VGU is coming in 2020. I'm sure we'll get something good after that though. I'd like something Fiery or Robotic (Mecha).

Thanks for the tip :) According to 4 Step Cadence, PROJECT is a human skin line only but yeah, the Mecha line is cool too. I wouldn't mind an Elderwood skin or an Inferno skin but we have to remember that Voli is lightning themed so while he's well suited for a Mecha skin, skins based around another element could be troublesome for them to make.

Now this right here is someone who doesn't know what they are talking about when it comes to skins and just randomly suggest crap that they think "looks cool."

PROJECT is a human only skin line and Warwick is the only exception, so no. This was stated/confirmed by Riot. God King skins are likely exclusive to the Garen and Darius VS event, so no.

And he is getting a VGU in 2020 so expect nothing until after that.

As I said, I play for fun and I don't keep up with everything Riot says or does so I don't know how I was supposed to know the PROJECT line was human only as, as you said, Warwick has one. It also doesn't have to be PROJECT, there is also the Mecha line which is similar enough.

And I did say that although I hoped Voli could get a God-King skin, I was pretty sure that was exclusive to Garen and Darius. Doesn't stop me from hoping, though. Those skins look awesome.

And yes, I suggest stuff that I think looks cool because guess what? That's what skins are for. I'm also not a fan of the joke skins like that luchador skin Voli has.

The whole point of asking people's opinion was to know what kind of skin they expected. I don't know the lore but other people does and that's what I was hoping to get as answers, not "Now this right here is someone who doesn't know what they are talking about when it comes to skins and just randomly suggest crap that they think "looks cool." So if you actually have a plausible suggestion I'd love to ~~hear~~ read it.

Yeah I have to agree that guy flamed for no reason. He couldn't have simply respectfully made his point since your post is harmless enough anyway. But yeah he won't get a godking skin, but there are definitely cool things he could get.

What I think would be interesting for him would be some kind of Robin Hood themed skin, though that likely wouldn't be as intense or epic as you are hoping for. He could totally fit in the mecha skin line as you mentioned. Kung-Fu Voli (as in like Kung-Fu Panda) would be dope (even though you don't care for the comedic skins lol).

Yeah, sorry. I'm really not interested in the joke skins. Although the Robin Hood angle might work for an Elderwood skin? Though I'm not sure how you went from Lightning Murder Bear to Spandex clad Archer, there are loads of character who would be better suited to such a skin. (And there probably already is one, isn't there? I think Ash has one?)
