So what ever happened to the Crimson Elite?

Back when Talon and Riven were released they had a shared skin theme called "Crimson Elite" which a lot of us thought would be the Noxian equivalent/counter to the Demacian "Commando" skin theme, Garen, Lux, Xin, Jarven, and Galio had. It turned out Riot didn't plan on expanding the theme beyond those two however and the dream of Noxian and Demacian special forces going at it on the Rift died. Its a shame since Sion, Cassiopeia, LeBlanc, Vladimir, Katerina, or Swain could finish the theme. Do you think Riot should finish the crimson elite team?

Riot had enough time for flipping project skins but none for crimson elites which really ticks me off

They're lore-based skins as far as I can tell. Riven used to be part of the crimson elite but is a disgraced former member.

Talon, however, is probably a highly respected former if not current member and likely shows up at their meetings with snacks and stuff to hang out.

The skins in parallel illustrate the differences in the characters while highlighting their shared history.

If they added more crimson elite skins, it would have to be on a champion that was part of the crimson elite in their backstory.

so... I guess we want another champion with ties to the crimson elite.

Yes we need crimson elite draven and I guess swain as a support? his cc seems good

also crimson elite sion as the jungler

If they were finished with three more champions and;
renamed to PROTOTYPE to counter PROJECT.

... we'd have a traditional good vs. bad set of skins!

I read somewhere that they started working on a crimson elite Katarina and scrapped because it wasn't good enough. Steel Legion hasn't been finished either and I think they're supposed to fight. Maybe someday...
