Typhon (a hydra)

Roles: Tank, AD/on-hit Assassin, Bruiser, Jungler

Passive: Each time he takes damage equaling half his current max health, that becomes his new max health and he gains an additional head that deal 50% damage and attacks random targets in the area as he attacks. (If their is only one target, they will be attacked by all heads. Example: You have 500 health and 50 AD. when you get dropped to 125 health, you gain 2 additional heads that attack with 25 AD and proc on-hit

Q: Snapping with one head to bit into and enemy, latching on and slowing (30% slow) them for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 seconds and causing a 3 second bleed effect that increases in damage by 1% of AD for each time the other heads bite the target.

W: Gain 20% damage reduction per head for 3 seconds

E: Roars causing a fear. Range and duration increase based on number of heads.

R: Help me out. I am drawing a blank for this ability. Maybe for 10 seconds, each time he is killed it only removed 1 head and recovers 50% of the Max health based on the number of heads. That would be overpowered, likely.

Wow this is very interesting!

I was thinking instead that your W becomes your passive: increases in % per level.

and your passive would replace your W like:

Extra heads(W): Hydra gains another head with 200HP (or whatever % max HP), When hydra takes damage, it is taken by it's heads instead. Each rank 1/2/3/4 adds a new head, Slain heads take 10 seconds to respawn, can only respawn one head at a time. Kill enemies decreases respawn timer. minions/monster 1 sec, epic monster 3 seconds, champions 5 seconds. Cap to 4 mini heads.

as for your ultimate to simplify:

Hyrdras Rage(R): Passive: Typhon heads have reduced respawn time 5 seconds. Typhon respawns 2 heads instead. Typhon head cap doubled + 1. (based on his rank of new W, he has 2 heads in W, he gets 4+1+1 original head, = 6 heads at max including original head = 10) Before Typhon takes fatal damage, he will repsawn all his heads to the max cap. Cooldown 240 seconds (4 minutes)

Your Q is already really strong is the champions manages to keep more than 3 heads at a time, his health permanently increased now that his W fixes how many heads he has.

Your E maybe instead of range, you can cast it once her extra head. ie 3 heads, 3 times, 7 heads 7 times etc pretty strong, by itself theres not need for range and your going to be toe toe with most champions.

The point would be to burst your champions as soon as possible, before he regains his heads. 1 v 1 he is very strong if he has more than one head.

he suffers from crowd control and kitting etc

let me know what you think, feel free to check some of my concepts and comments for other posts feedback and opinions are much appreciated

typhon isn't hydra -_- typhon is her father btw hydra means something liek "water-snake"

http://www.theoi.com/Gigante/Typhoeus.html http://www.theoi.com/Ther/DrakonHydra.html

p.s. there was another person named kind of similarly, tithonus that's a sad story, he was kidnapped (think raped) by the goddess of the dawn, eos, who gave him immortality forgetting to ask zeus to give him eternal youth, and when he grew old she eventually simply locked him in a room where he, by a later myth, turned into a cricket. homer mentions him as a an actual partner of her in his "odyssey" though, so that myth is likely more recent than the homeric time - "Now Dawn arose from her couch from beside lordly Tithonus, to bear light to the immortals and to mortal men..."

btw iirc greeks thought the dawn is red because she is blushing being ashamed of what she did the previous night, since tithonus wasn't the only one... iirc, not sure of the source
