Taric is outdated and a bit dead as a champion maybe a redesign would help :D

This looks really cool. Interested to see people's reactions considering this is a bit more of a serious take. Is that ok? I tend to fall in line with people who want Taric to still remain beautiful, heroic and a signature paladin.

Amazing concept! About personality: I do hope that Taric stays fabulous in his regular skins and becomes even more badass in Bloodstone, with deeper voice and more grim nature. He looks awesome in this redesign, but in the strangest way (it feels good, but does the gems shine?) . I feel like he also need to be reworked in a small amount in another area called his skills( Buff or rework). Cause it does not matter how good you look, unless you can't do the job you use to. He is weak compared with other supports and just looks outdated (in my opinion) So I am glad to see this in the boards.

This looks great. I love his sleeker and smoother armor and also he has a beauty to him that gives him a way more serious and kind look.
Hope that when he gets his VU, Riot makes him more badass like his Chinese Art whilst also retaining the Fabulousness for the nostalgics in his AoTF Skin!

A lot of people are talking about how they want a silly Taric over a serious one, and how Taric is silly now and they want to keep that part of him. The problem is that even in his current form, Taric is very serious. If you read his lines, and consider the way he says them, it is apparent that he is very serious. It is the player perception of Taric that makes him, and many of his lines, silly. That, I feel, is the core of Taric's personality. He is a very serious, compassionate and protective person at his core. And yet there is some part of what he says and how he says that is PERCEIVED in the mind of the player as being slightly off and/or silly. Taric shouldn't just become Riot's gay joke (as he is often used now). He should live up to his lore and by the protector/healer that it says he is but at the same time keep a degree of his perceived "outrageousness."
