Who Will Be The New Champion To Get The 2015 Victorious Skin?

In my opinion it would be a good idea to make it for a mid laner seeing as how they have Victorious Elise (Jungler), Jarvin IV (Jungler/Top), Janna (Support), and Morgana (Support). They have just released the championship skin for Kalista(ADC) and have championship skins for Riven (Top), Thresh (Support), and Shyvana (Jungler/Top). The championship and victorious skins kind of go hand in hand. This leaves only mid lane for a victorious skin or championship skin(championship skin for this year is already released). Why no mid laner, mid is usually one of the most important roles, if you lose as mid lane its very hard for the rest of your team to win. I would suggest they give it to Viktor since he saw lots of play time in high elo and lcs, and has only 3 skins which were released a while ago. Also Kennen since he hasn't got some play time and this will hopefullt boost him plus he has 5 skins but one is a legacy and he hasn't got a new one in a while. What do you guys think? who will get the next Victorious skin?

Pretty sure they said it would be a Marksman so Kennen isn't likely. Regardless, I rather have a new Kennen skin first...poor guy hasn't gotten a new skin in four years! D: Kennen

they said it was a marksman first off, but iirc kennen is also a marksman secondarywhich mena she isnt ruled out yet, but victorious skins go to chamnps who had a big impact in the season so the marksman that seemed to have the biggest impact this season were sivir kalista vayne and azir kalista got the championship skin so we can rule her out so that would leave sivir vayne or possibly azir personally i think sivir is most likely here as she has had the biggest impact from what i've seen.

Oh oops, you're right. Forgot that Kennen was a secondary Marksman. >.<

Regardless, you're right. Sivir/Azir/Vayne seem much more likely in consideration to the impact of their plays this season as Kennen was hardly seen. I feel Tristana has a good shot of getting the skin too, though we'll have to see!

There's been a few theories passed around, and my favorite so far is Azir. There's hint it will be a marksman, and with Kalista getting the other skin this season it's unlikely the victorious skin will go to another ADC.

The pool of champions who are non-ADC marksmen is rather low.

No, they said marksman, so that pretty much means an ADC. Yes, technically you can call Azir a marksman, but no one does, and he doesn't have enough of a kit to qualify him as one. My guess: Sivir. She was pretty important for most of the season, practically winning the games in the EULCS spring finals (seriously: except for the last game, whichever team had Sivir won)

If you go to his character page his secondary role literately says "Marksman" they could of just said "oh it's gonna be an AD carry", but they didn't they said "Marksman".

Yes, and I acknowledged that. But who in their right mind calls Azir a marksman? Technically, yes, he could be it. Will that be likely as the said marksman? No, probably not. Azir just doesn't have a kit that goes to what people see as a marksman

Marksman is a term because it is different than an ADC.

Even secondary attributes matter, and since we already have an ADC marksman getting a skin this season it seems unlikely another one will, particularly when there's another candidate who was very prevalent over this season.

What would happen if there was just one champion that stood out in both professional and ranked play? Well then, technically, they could get both the victorious and the championship skin.

~~Victorious~~ Championship has to do with eSports. ~~Championship~~ Victorious has to do with ranked. And by those standards, Sivir probably had a greater impac, hence she is my guess for the Victorious skin

Kalista had a way bigger impact on the professional scene than she did on just solo queue, she was literately picked or banned in almost every single LCK game I've watched for the last 5 months.

If victorious had to do with ranked then either Jinx or Tristana would get it over Sivir without a doubt. They both have a 3x higher play rate than her.

It's not determined by play rate, it's determined by the impact they had on the ranked scene

Then why did Morgana get the victorious skin last season? I saw teams like C9 spam her in the LCS and worlds but I never saw a ton of her in just ranked play or impacting games compared to other champions.

Just saw this post from a couple years back concerning victorious skins "in s1 jarvan was contested all throughout the season in pro games, just like janna in season 2 and elise in season 3 who was picked or banned nearly every game in lcs and ogn etc". Season 4 morgana was banned quite a bit in pro play, so it seems victorious skins reflect pro play as do championship skins. Has nothing to do with solo queue.

Yeah it won't be Viktor because it was already said to be a marksman, but why was Viktor suddenly mass picked out of no where? He was a counter pick to Azir in the mid lane as was Varus . He's labeled a marksman and completely changed the mid lane. If you watched the NA LCS pre MSI these champs were played in mid Chogath TwistedFate Karthus Urgot Zed Ahri Xerath Lissandra Syndra . Then MSI happens and everyone sees how good Azir really is, he instantly becomes perma ban or first picked and the only champions you see mid are Lulu Orianna KogMaw Viktor Varus because they are all good against Azir

I think it is going to be an ADC champ, because realistically Morgana is a strong mid laner, with Janna support, and J4 / Elise top / jungle. It would make sense that this one is an ADC.

I would say A victorious Azir, Rek'Sai, or Sivir. Most likely Sivir since she has had the most impact bottom. But along with Azir, and Rek'Sai, it is always up in the air
