Gifting skin shards

Will there ever be gifting skin shards to our friends in league. Since there are many skins that can't be obtained anymore, that you can get by random chance. I was hoping that league will put a gifting skin shards to friends option, because I have many friends that want the skin shards that I have, and I don't need them. It makes me feel really sad when my friends can’t get them, since they are for limited times. If that weren’t the case I would’ve boughten the skins for them. I was really hoping that if this was put into the game, then a lot more players would be motivated to play the game even more! Since they get to play with their favorite skin or really liked skin!

I recently got a legacy skin shard for Varus . I dont play him so i sent a picture of the shard to my friend who does and he freaked out saying he's been trying to get the skin but it would never show up for him. I felt bad [sg-soraka] considering i dont even play this champion and wanted to just give him this skin shard instead of just disenchanting it for orange essence or re-rolling it with other skins. I'd like if this was a thing in the game, would seriously help out the community and the players.

I totally agree! I always end up getting massively rare skin shards, like Alien Heimerdinger, or Firefighter Tristana, or Elementalist Lux, etc. Just random luck of the draw. However, I don't really main these champs, and it would be wonderful to gift them to someone else.

Or Braum. My boyfriend is a Braum main, and I keep getting Braum skin shards and it drives me nuts!! XD I have gotten each Braum skin as a shard at least once, and it makes me bonkers since I could have given them all to him ;-;.

I really want this to be a thing. It makes the game a bit more friendly, since shards don't always cost money, and the gift of giving is a beautiful thing <3.

Maybe if not all the time, at least available around Christmas? It would be wonderful to send skin shards to people for the holidays ^^.

it doesn't matter how many people want this, we'll never get this. If you want to send a gift, go buy some RP. That's how Rito wants it and will keep it. I hope I'm wrong but doubt that...

I never get the shards I want but i always get the ones my friends want, its sad because i can't gift them RIOT really needs to add this
