Mejais for Tanks

You stack armor and or mr while taking dmg by enemy champions (while taking dmg for your team). The important thing: If you die, you lose a part of these stacks. So if your enemies dmg you but dont kill you, you get stronger and stronger. And when they kill you permanently you get weaker. There could also be a restriction, that u can just stack if u get an amount of dmg in a specific time (for example 30% of your HP in 4-5sec = 2 stacks = 15 armor or 7.5 mr). Another possible restriction is for example, that u can just obtain the stacks if u r next to allied players...

It would be like a cross between item 3052 and item 3041 . The issue is that. Tanks arent supposed to die often to begin with so the stacks will feel more permanent than mejai would. Plus, this would be abused by Fighters, Divers, Bruisers and Juggernauts. Or basically, all the DPS champs who happen to build tanky.

^Exactly. Tanks are rather more survivable than AD or AP carries, so such an item would be difficult to balance on that level. However, I think it could be done.

I honestly would rather a item 3089 for tanks that worked out of bonus resistances to discourage everyone else that is not building tank.

A Resist Rabadon....

hmm....

item 1057 + item 1031 + 1330 (2850)

40 Armor 40 Magic Resist

Unique Passive: Increases bonus armor and magic resist by 10%.

It specifically refers to bonus Armor and Magic Resist to target the champs who already buy extra Armor and MR

item 3143 item 3065 item 3025 item 3111 item 3068 + 9 armor and 12 MR (184 Armor and 102MR)

With the Theoretical item, it would increase it to 246 and 156 (22.4 and 14.2 Bonus Armor and MR)

Thats excluding the other bonus 5% from Unyeilding or the extra Armor/Mr from Legendary Guardian. And or course the various Base Armor/MR values.

10% is not enough incentive... I was thinking giving the same percentage than item 1409 and give it 15% so it woudl work on a similar fashion as item 3083 works with cinder by working with either item 3110 or item 3075 and probably bump up the price....Maybe make it build from item 3211 + item 3082 + gold

15% would make it bonus 33.54 Armor and 21.27 MR With the items i listed which is still fine.

The concept was meant to "Top off" What you already have with a little bonus as a good hybrid defense item (i dont like buying item 3026 item 3512 just for the hybrid stats although the abilities arent bad). Its litterally the resist warmog in that sense (you usually grab warmog towards the late game).

I thought about having it as item 1057 item 1031 item 1011 + 1280 and having it have 400 HP with the 40 resist/armor. but i didnt want it to be that expensive. Warmog is at a good price so i used it as the ceiling.

Wasn't that Leviathan?

They had this before. The problem is that to counter it, you need to kill them, but not dying makes you harder to kill.
