Are you shitting me? Now I'm no longer calm as I've just, very regrettably, read past "calm down".

"They didn't know LoL at the time" is my ENTIRE point. LoL wouldn't be here if it weren't for Beta Testers and people who played Season 1, 2, 3, etc. The players (you easily justify viewers now, too; though, knowing about the game is still a pre-requisite either way) from each previous season enabled the next one. I am asking you ("you" being used to represent anyone sharing your point of view) to respect "older" players and their privilege (and right) to any EXCLUSIVE and/or LIMITED skins that came out when they were playing and ready to invest in LoL.

How do you respect these players, you ask?

Let me tell you, again: Do not ask for skins to be re-released.

People were already very fortunate to have gotten the rights to LIMITED seasonal skins released in seasons 1 and 2 (I believe S3 was when it stopped being LIMITED, as the community had understood the term until then).

I know that LIMITED =/= Never released again. But you can ask anyone who was there in S1 and 2 if they thought that the skins would be re-released and you'll get a resounding "No".

Unfortunately (from my point of view) Riot was greedy and saw mucho $ dollar signs when, at least, half the community cried out for the old, LIMITED, skins. The voices of the "old" were drowned out, for the most part. Though, some "older" players did publicly agree to have them re-released. Were they truly satisfied with the (ugly, hardly noticeable, practically pointless) gold shade on the load screens as compensation*, or were they just seeking a top-rated comment on the comments section? We shall never know.

Final point about them being LIMITED: Many people thought that they would not be re-released. It helped market the skins. Had I know that Witch Nidalee was going to be re-released, I probably would not have bought it. However, I wanted to mark my presence in Season 1 (or 2; I forget which Season that skin belonged to originally...) so I purchased the skin as "proof" of that. Pretty cool proof too.

(Golden shade does not count as (enough) proof in my opinion. It's only, and barely, visible in Load Screens. Something people hardly pay attention to. I don't know about you, but when I buy a skin, I think about its in-game look, not its load screen appearance. Since, you know, 95% of the time I spend with the skin is, well, IN-GAME.)

*Yeah we also got refunded and an Icon (Yipee). I'd still prefer my skins to be exclusive, as would many others.
