Nasus Cartoon Splash Art

First post here so bear with. All the new splash arts are detailed and simply amazing. However Nasus' new splash is cartoon-like and lacking detail. Compared to all the new splash arts, this one is depressing.

I'm talking about the base nasus skin.

Is this splash art simply taken from China and I misunderstood or is this really his final splash art?

If it is meant to be his final splash art, then I think Riot should consider giving him something more detailed like Renekton's.
