Tulien-The Mad King

This is my 1st time actually posting to the forums and sharing my ideas so i hope you guys enjoy :P

Appearance: Light skinned with dark hair and eyes that drove you mad just looking at them. He had maniacal, twitchy smile, always on his face, especially when killing. He wore old, worn out armor and a crown upon his head that looked just as old as his gear. The thing that drew attention the most was the sword. Long, sharp blade almost glowing with power. It had giant handles but what was in the middle of them that was most intriguing. There sat a red gem, radiating so much power it gave off heat. The blade didn't seem to age with the rest of his things, neither did he.

Lore: Tulien was once a noble and strong king, ruling kingdoms throughout the lands. Being loved by all. One day, his curiosity grew over him. When going through one of the lesser known towns part of his mass kingdom he had came across an old lady. Some suspect that she was actually a witch in disguise looking to take the kings power. The lady had offered him a sword, one that looked like nothing compared to his own. All the king had to do was kill her with the very blade. Of course, the king had refused but the lady would not let him go so easily. The lady had used words of persuasion on the king. Which ultimately didn't work, but out of annoyance and anger the king snatched the sword out of the witches hands with no intention to kill her. But, as the king felt the sword in his hands it changed, the blade turned sharper, cleaner, in between the handles of the blade was a gem that stared back at him and pierced through his heart. An over whelming power came from the gem into the king. He felt the need to keep the sword, he had to have it. He raised the sword above his head. The old witch just muttered "All good kings fall mad eventually." The noble and loved king brought his sword down upon the witch. After that very day, nothing had been right. The once noble and strong king was driven mad. He abandoned his family. His whole kingdom. He had slaughtered the people that had loved him, the ones that were loyal and looked up to him. Before this though, he would be heard talking to the sword, talking about the plans he had to turn on loved ones. To this day, no one knows if the sword actually talks back, we just know that it is the source of all his madness. Only every once and a while, the sword releases him from all it to show all the damage and sorrow the king had caused But then again. This is just an old tale from long ago.

Concept: Tulien is a melee fighter that can excel in both Defense and Attack Damage. In the midst of battle he can change his stats making for an unpredictable champion.

Stats: Health: 650(+70 per level) Resource: Madness Madness: 100 Madness Regen: When attacked or attacking, Tulien will gain 3 madness Attack Damage: 40(+4 per level) Attack Speed: .653(+1.75% per level) Movement Speed: 345 Health Regen: 8.55(+.80 per level) Armor: 40(+3.5 per level) Magic Resist: 33.5(+1.75)

Abilities: Passive-Madness: When attacked or attacking, Tulien will gain 3 madness. For every 1% of madness Tulien has, he will lose .3 Armor, which will then turn into extra damage. When out of combat, Tulien loses 5 madness per second.

Q- Loved by many: Tulien would gain the support of the people in his kingdom, granting him 10/20/30/40/50% Attack speed and On-Hit slow 5% which stacks to a max of 35%. This abilities buff would be decreased when Tulien has more madness, granting only 10/15/20/25/30% attack speed and the slow only stacking to 25% Cool down: 18/16/14/12/10 Seconds

W- Release me!: Tulien cant handle it anymore he takes all the built up madness and releases it from his swords gem, forming a blot of energy that pierces through enemies dealing 80/95/110/125/140(+ 35% of ability power) This ability does 1% more damage for each madness Tulien has. Casting this ability takes all of Tulien's current madness. Cool down: 14/12/10/8/6 Seconds

E- Beheaded: Passive: Whenever a unit is killed near Tulien, this abilities cool down is reduced by 2. Active: In his Madness, Tulien attempts to behead his opponent on his next basic attack, dealing 30/45/60/75/90 + (110% Attack Damage). If the enemy is bellow 10 % of his maximum health, the target takes twice the amount. Tulien will gain 10 Madness upon killing a unit with it and 2 bonus gold from minions and monsters. Cool down: 22/18/14/12/10

R- Love by Fear: Tulien is completely controlled by the sword. Unable to lose any madness, For 5/8/10 seconds His ability "Loved by many" gives the full buff. Also, Tulien's basic attacks deal a percentage of the targets health as bonus magic damage 5/7.5/10%. Since Tulien is feared enemies will do anything he can to stop him so he takes 10/8/5% bonus magic and physical damage. Cool down: 140/125/115

Taunt: He mentioned all the things we could do to end your life. I think this will be fun.

I got the idea for this champ from a short story i wanted to write. I think he would fit nicely in League of Legends though. Guys please give me some feedback and thank you! I would like to say, i'm not done with Tulien yet i will be adding more, eventually. I have to say i owe alot of this to a good friend Alaurina, i totally suggest going over to his posts and checking his champions out. I couldn't have got this done without him! P.S. Hi so here my review for your champion.

I readed the lore (as it was small enouph to not take 10 minute xD) and i understand from where your ability and what they link behind them.

Passive : Insanity : from my guess it would be a 100 bar range and would gain it at like a rate of 1 per 2 second (personnal though on it)

Madness : for each point of madness, 0.5 % of your armor is remove and. granting 25 % of it as Attack damage. When Tulien has 100% Madness, Tulien may only cast Release me!. When used this way, Tulien will go back to 50% madness.

If this is what you thouhg it would be. fill free to use those number (the name i came up with it, even passive have name ;) ) If this isnt how the passive should work, tell me ^^

[Q] Loved by Many Again from my guess it would be a scale of 50% of the buff at max madness ^^ This ability is simple, but usefull ^^

[W] Release me! Here there is few problem with this ability. Only a fool would throw away his only weapon in a battlefield ^^ (if its like Olaf, he has two axe) In a way to make this ability like what you planned you could make him shout a battle cry, make him slam the ground or make him throw a progectile of madness with his sword. ^^ Also has his only poke ability, it should be able to cast it as much as possible ^^ maybe make it cost like 25 Madness, if it hit nothing you regain 10 madness? (again only my though on it)

[E] Beheaded Ill write a tool tip for you on this ability, tell me if your though were like this for him ^^

From my though , it is mostly a finisher ability ^^ but can also be used to reset his basic attack cooldown ^^

[R] Love by Fear I think you should make him that he can only use his ult when he has like 50% of Madness. Just be carefull wiht the ammount of % damage you will be giving him ^^

Overall

While having a potential, i am impatient to see this champion when there will be more description on his ability ^^

Alright, let's start with the name/appearance. Everything sounds pretty awesome, the only part that seems a bit sketchy is the Mad King part, being that Tryndamere is also kind of filling that role in a way, being the barbarian king, with his head fucked up from watching his home and family slaughtered. But i get that at the same time, your character is more...Mad. Just be aware they are dangerously close lol. Even the crown tryndamere has in his skin, with the huge sword and everything as well. Aside from that, his abilities seem pretty well rounded, but I have concerns! Passive- The passive seems pretty neat, but i noticed that he loses .3 armor per 1%...That's 30 armor at 100 madness, which means effectively, he will have negative armor at level 1. This could make him almost unbearably squishy. Q-I think if you just met the numbers half way, and took out the reduction from madness, it would work a bit better. So probably 15%/20%/25%/30%/40%. I say that because 60% is pretty steep of a number, and with a 50% slow, thats just too much. It's like nasus, with super attack speed. I would maybe recommend capping that slow at 35% and figuring out some scaling between. W- this one seems pretty cool, i like you used AP scaling, to make sure it's not TOO op. 200% bonus damage at full madness is pretty crazy, but it's still reasonable. Would like to know the CD of this though. E- This seems pretty fucken cool, kind of like nasus, but with some extra gold instead of a stack. I like this, but the CD is going to have to be pretty hefty, since it is reduced on kills. So once again, i would like to see the CD's. The only issue with this, is it sounds WAY too overpowered. 90 damage, ontop of 220% attack damage, if they are below 25% is ridiculus! lol, that's pretty much like darius' ult. So that might need to get tuned down a bit. R-Way too op! lol. That would be too insane! at level 6 he could do way too much damage! 50 minimum per hit of magic damage is like having a blade of the ruined king. Plus the other damage. Bit too crazy. If you could tune it down a little, it would be fucken LEGIT though. Maybe make him take 20% more damage or something , to make it fair.

Overall, sounds pretty awesome man. Would be interested in seeing it happen! GREAT WORK MANG

Very interesting champ! Here's a little feedback as promised:

Passive: Definitely an interesting and fun passive. How much attack does he gain exactly? Is it an even 1:1 ratio of -30 armor and +30 AD at 100 Madness? My only concern here is how this will scale into late game? I'd consider making it a flat armor loss and a % AD gain? This way the armor loss has more impact early and the ad gain has more impact later which scales well and prevents abuse of extra damage early on.

Q: This would get really confusing mathematically if it scales with Madness, perhaps you can make it so the reduced AS and slow occur when Madness is >50 (or some other flat number) to keep things consistent and fun for both the champ and his enemies?

W: Whoa, this is cool and helps manage defense vs. attack, but it's a tad strong right now. At level 1 this give him a 240 damage (not including ap ratio) damage poke at full madness. Like the idea though :) maybe just lower bonus damage to 1% per madness or cap the bonus to X% damage.

E: I like this a lot as it's your farming tool and execute sort of move. I'd say if a champion dies nearby it could reset completely? Also, why the asymmetric cooldown after 14 seconds?

R: Very interesting concept again, and I like the theme/play on dealing more damage at the cost of dealing more. What health is the % based on? I'd suggest if you're taking more damage, make it so it's max health, but... the duration needs to be lowered to something like 5/7/9 seconds then.

Cool first champ, has potential!

Allo! Lets start with the passive and concept.

To me, the concept of "madness" is close to rage, which adding another mechanic like rage/energy is a bit un-needed But it also it the main part of the champ, i understand, but i'm not sure they would go for it, just replacing the madness with rage.

Passive - Madness! May be bit underpowered

Q - On-hit continuous slow may be a little too excessive. Even though it only applies when hit, and does stack at a small amount, it might come off as too helpful

W - This does 1% of his madness, but if it uses all the current madness, then the bonus wouldn't be there. I mean I guess it could count it as soon as it shoots off, but it doesn't make sense to me :\

E - An ability that has a possible easy execute might me a little OP. Sure, they have below 10% in order to have this do double damage, but why not make it just Crit instead of double the damage. Would balance it out more.

R - I like the ult, but i can't tell if it would be a little under balanced due to how much damage he takes compared to what he can dish out in compensation, or vice versa.

Overall, I do enjoy the madness and little detail in the abilities.
